if you look at mandu's ladder history he couldn't have scrimmed that much with the team. wonder if anything was wrong with casper to pull this move so suddenly
|
they might have needed a stronger voice on the team, which I don't think Casper provided.

well mandu has been out of the pro meta for a few months. asking him to lead right now is kind of asking too much i think

this makes things actually kinda interesting for allstars since everyone expected K to sweep through at least to semis but if they go out now the whole circuit point system is up in the air again right? Or was the cutoff line too early for any other team to gain enough points to surpass K?

hmm then i guess it's kinda good that they're slumping, maybe we actually get interesting games then instead of free 50k trip for t1 k xD

KT B @ iem, didn't drop a game. Yeah, SKT gunna be fine.

Not that I think the results would be any different. lol

He said you could argue. I think TSM being stronger than C9 is at least arguable, given the standings. Both are arguable, but on the flipside you're in a much weaker position when trying to argue that C9 is distinctively stronger than TSM.

I think right now TSM is marginally stronger than Cloud 9. Mainly because of Bjergsen. The guy is the best midlaner in NA by a fair distance. The rest of TSM is pretty solid. Cloud 9 is similarly solid in all their lanes, the only guy who really stands out is Meteos but not to the degree that Bjergsen does imo. I also feel that Cloud 9 has failed to really develop further as a team. Their standing is really the same as it was several months ago whereas I think TSM has kicked it up a notch or two.
Oh and SKT K will bounce back no problem. The gap between the korean scene and the rest of the world is pretty big. They might drop a game against a Chinese team that would be about it. Mandu also is likely to be playing significantly better with just a bit more practice as well.

OMG only lost to other Chinese teams and went 1:1 with T1K when they were in their Worlds' shape. Obviously most people don't expect Gambit/Alliance/SK or TSM to beat T1K but I for one really want to see China dominate once again.

OMG lost to royal 2-0, and 3-0 in the finals of LPL. Enough said.

I don't understand why people keep thinking that Meteos is the only weapon C9 have. It's their team synergy that makes them strong. People used to ride on Sneaky's nuts but he's actually pretty good lol by their region standards ofc. TSM and C9 are pretty interchangeable. Doesn't change much in the grander scheme of things though because we will always look to what these guys in Korea are doing and between the top teams in Europe and NA? I really don't see much of a difference. The difference lies in the rest of the teams. It gets pretty muddy outside of those guys.

But I think they're starting to become complacent again these last couple weeks :p
