stupid to underestimate them What's strong about them currently? What makes them better than their compatriots, say Ozone. Champion pool and individual players. Although when Ozone perform their individual players are a lot stronger than what they showed. NJS have been a team that was really hyped because of the really strong players they have but for some reason they just couldn't pull it together in summer. They also have a lot more experience + other people like iG have said they're playing real well in scrims.

So I haven't played much league lately can anybody tell me the results of the I am sure rampant amount of trinity kogs in solo queue right now? Since all the pros immediately picked it up I am guessing Genja is on to something.

yango has said it forever, the skill difference between all the "top teams" in korea aren't that far apart with a few individual exceptions. sure sword kinda flunked the past season but so what, they're still a top notch team with a lot of big tournament experience, and they have the added advantage of having done nothing but prepare for worlds for the past months
if they really went the path of not preparing at all then sure they'll feed and die horribly but i doubt that happened

I don't think it's right to say Sword is outright stronger than their fellow Korean teams, but they have more of an aura of mystery heading into Worlds. The last time people have seen them play was almost a month ago, so only the teams that scrim against them know how strong they really are.
Actually I think Sword is definitely in better shape than Ozone atm, they've been playing with Nagne for much longer than Ozone has been playing with Looper, they have had no change in environment or coaching staff, and also their CEO brought over Najin Shield to scrim with them consistently (pretty sure Ozone doesn't have this last part going for them). Zzitai compared Sword to last year's TPA, which is definitely a fair comparison imo.

Sword is definitely a major wildcard its been so long since anyone has seen them play. Expession is also still a beast.

Gama Bears will take it, the season 4 trophy will just be shipped directly to Taiwan to avoid wasting time and everybody will retire from predictions.

I really wish Riot had given the top four teams something to do. Maybe next year have them do a single round robin to determine the teams order in the bracket. Top team gets first pick of the group stage teams and so on. It would give us an idea of how good the top four teams are and at least give them three more guaranteed games for people to watch.

I agree, that would be really cool. Better then them possibly only playing two games total.

Yeah, let's say that the four group stage teams are OMG, SKT, Fnatic and Gambit.
Then let's say that in the Top 4 Round Robin, we have Sword first, Cloud 9 in second, Royal in third and Bears in fourth.
Sword picks Fnatic. Cloud 9 picks Gambit. Royal picks SKT. Bears are stuck with OMG. The bracket would then be:
1. Sword 8. Fnatic
4. Bears 5. OMG
3. Royal 6. SKT
2. C9 7. Gambit

It's looking like it because everyone that matters is shitting on Ozone.
Those that mattered happened to be Fnatic and Gambit. Hell, Vulcun was even beating them outta laning phase.

I honestly think they're on par with the rest of the seeds from what I've seen them do in the past couple of months.

I could see Gambit making it through, but I just don't see Fnatic advancing with them. I could be wrong, but I don't think that I am. Ozone is going to come back with Homme and take faces.
