I just don't think they are that far behind as you make them out to be. I think Snoophe is having a hard time adjusting to this meta, but I think Wickd and EG's botlane are a lot closer to the top EU teams then you are giving them credit for. Not better, but competitive.

It seems like EG are just trying out new comps/playstyles ... I mean they stomped wolves with snoopeh on vi earlier, but it doesn't mean much if your competition is 0-8, and I'm sure they learned a lot from this game... they're still third in the league regardless

IMO
a few questionable decisions from EG this game.
1. Not banning Thresh and not banning Xin against the original Xin player.
2. Had to look twice if EG really picked Draven, I am a big fan of Pete but rate him as one of the rather weak mechanical ads
3. How does Nidalee Poke Synergize with the rest of their engage comp.
4. Snoopeh still one of the worst pro junglers imo, even in the game vs wolves he didn't have a good play with Vi afair.
And all of that is pregame ^^, Obviously Gambit played beastly.

I really think you guys overreacting. EG just lost a game against gambit one of the best teams in europe and the world. All this shittalking about wickd and snoppeh and that everyone except froggen is bad is pathetic.

Yellowpete draven was pretty dissapointing sadly.He didn't even stacks axes in lane so when krepo flashed he didn't use the standart 3 in an all in burst situation.Not gonna even start on how he didn't even try to catch them in teamfights  .Wickd not warding as well was just sad.Not the eg we are used to pretty much.

Maybe but they need to learn how to pick and ban properly. Giving an enemy team thresh, xin zao, kha zix and shen at the same time is just plain stupid.
Maybe snoopeh isn't the best aggro jungler in the world (frankly even a hardcore fanboy like myself has a hard time defending his Vi play this game), but it definitly doesn't help if they let Diamond play his absolute favorite champion and then enact some brilliant level 1 strategy (sarcasm here) that leaves Vi without a red buff....
Wicked had a tough lane 1v2 against thresh but frankly they should not have accepted that laneswap. I feel like i'm posting the same stuff every week, but for some reason EG insists on playing 1v2 matchups or swapped lanes when they would have a far easier time playing 2v2 and 1v1.
Ps: With froggen eating 2 bans straight and them having to ban TF to keep it away from Alex his mid lane hasn't been that great either in that game, but compared to how hard wicked and snoopeh lost...
