Yeah I don't think even they know why they picked AP Trynd that game. Pretty sure Trynd tried his best to split push. He was in fact beating on bot base Tower quite well. Also pretty sure that Nocturne was supposed to work with AP Trynd's split push. If voyboy was able to push properly, they could use noc ult to catch quite whoever CLG sent to defend off guard into a 1v2 situation. It just didn't happen because Curse was losing everything else too badly. There's only so much split push you can do solo.
The rest of the picks didn't make much sense though. If they're going to use Trynd to split they need some way to stall pushes. Noc doesn't really do that, all he can do is split push more but then if he splits more his team has to 3v5 or 3v4 defend. Kayle can't stall pushes because her wave clear is pretty average. MF can only stop pushes every two minutes or so when she has ult. And Alistar can counter-initiate okay but someone like Sona could probably do it more reliably/better.
I don't think they really thought their team comp through that game.

Eh, Curse. You earned it by trying to abuse AP Trynd.

Would really love to see aphrolift lane vs qtpatoy with vayne vs draven. In my opinion you can just go behind creeps from level 1 as draven and zone hilariously easily and liftlift seems to think you can't.Would be really interesting to watch that .

Srsly Alaric, I'm pissed about it. I feel like they heard he was OP then didn't learn any real comps designed for him =(

I feel so happy that my Idea for omen adc worked out so well on the highest na stage. He built omen because he would be getting doven (diven, dived?) by Nocturne. Who would get slowed by it. Frozen Mallet is probably better against an AP diver like Akali, and such.
Dove.
Not the bird or the soap either.

TSM does it on a regular basis anyway so...

Frozen Mallet is probably better against an AP diver like Akali, and such. he built it beacuse he was getting dove by noct and trynd and its a fantastic kiteing item. When your getting zerged by dive budies you don't want to have to auto attack each of them just wait for both of them to attack you once pop the active on it and suddenly you have a ton of space out for you. Not to mention omen is a TON better for duleing anyone outside of those ap divers you mentioned. I'd still use my omen against almost any team.
Yeah, Randuins is an amazing item for dueling. However, in team fights, most teams will have their AP dive on you immediately. If their top is AD then I agree that Omen is much better, since their mid most likely won't dive you. But Frozen Mallet is amazing for kiting APs that dive you, as well as picking up the pieces after a fight.

I really didn't like Curse's teamcomp there. If you're gonna do AP Tryndamere, why are you letting the enemy team have Lux while you pick Kayle? What's Kayle going to ult? Tryndamere? + Show Spoiler +Oh wait, Nyjacky actually did that once. -_-
CLG put so much towerdive/towerkill threat down mid lane that Voyboy had to show up to teamfights. AP Trynd does not like being forced to show up to teamfights, unless it's as a janitor.
Why didnt Curse pick the Lux and use her power to hold back the tide while Tryndamere could force the splitpush? Why did they pick a teamcomp that could not put much threat onto Doublelift without hard engaging? They don't WANT to hard engage, they're running friggin AP TRYNDAMERE.

It literally affected ALL of the damage curse could put on him.

But, but, he's OPPPPPPPPP..... it just works...
Voyboy way too passive on Trynd. He was backing in lane way to often when no one was around him.

First GGU looks like the strongest new team, and Marn looks terrible. Now all of a sudden, GGU is the worst, and Marn is god mode. GGU had potential but one of their starters has to wait for customs. But with how GGU's looked the past four weeks, not sure how much he could help. I might be naive but I thought the US and Canada pretty much had open borders? The border is pretty open but things get more complicated when money is involved, work visas are surely involved now that players actually receive a salary.
Is siphur Canadian? If he is, he probably doesn't need a work permit.

Well something is stopping him from playing and it's apparently not school.

Execution needed work I suppose.

Wowwwww. So happy TSM won. Although it sounded sloppy, and VUL threw, glad to see TSM playing some different/comfortable champs (singed & mao) and coming back from behind!
And Curse finally showing some vulnerability. 3am vs TSM. I am DEF gettin' up for that.

Execution needed work I suppose. I disagree. With AP trynd you need a splitpush comp. It's not some "special AP tryndamere comp" - it's the same kind of comp you'd pick with a Splitpush Nidalee or any other super hard splitpusher with mediocre-poor teamfight presence. You need a comp where your 4 can put a hard-stop to 5v4 tower dives and make it extremely unsafe for their ADC to even TOUCH your towers. This means you need long range, and you need "catching" CC. Lux/Xerath/Gragas or something who can bring ranged catching power mid, Jarvan/Vi/someone who can blow up a caught ADC in jungle. Even Khazix would have performed a lot better than Kayle there.
Also annoyed me greatly that Cop didn't use MF ulti EVER to force CLG off of their tower. Especially when they were taking mid outer turret, I was thinking to myself "and this is where Cop MF ultis you to keep you from touching the tower." And then it never happened.
