I think I have found an analogy that can describe MLG's attitude to LoL. Basically everyone was trying to predict what game would become the next Messiah of ESPORTS and MLG said that it would be SC2 and pumped a feckload of money into trying to get it to work. Then along comes LoL and it turns out that SC2 was not the chosen one, other organisations just sort of went with it and swapped over. MLG however, decided that it was impossible for them to be wrong and kept on going with SC2 while putting on a insignificant sideshow of LoL with bad production, to try and stave off investors from going with it.

TSM shouldn't be playing comps that they cannot pull off, especially putting TOO on a jungle assassin, he is the best support jungler in the game he shouldn't be playing that type of jungler. Lol, you are still delusional. Its not TSM play with a comp that they are not used to, They simply cant beat Koreans with no matter what comp they use. TSM is just miles behind Asian teams, thats it. Pls, Oddone is good in NA only, hes no that good if you compare then to Asian teams junglers. Oddone is actually probably the most outstanding member of TSM compared to his Asian counterparts. Give credit where credit is due. Jungling is still a heavily experience and game sense-driven role. And Oddone's experience as a jungler is exceeded by very few active junglers. I agree with your first point, but I dont see how Oddone can compare to their Asian counterparts. If you watch TSM scrims Oddone just do whatever Reginald tell him, pretty much wipe Reginald's ass. Just in that last game, see how Oddone babysit Reginald mid? It was very close the first time they kill Karthus, but the 2nd time was just horrible. The babysitting mid was part of their strategy. We even heard about it in the sweet Turtle Beach sound session! I don't know. Zilean is supposed to absolutely destroy Karthus in lane. Reginald didn't achieve that at all and actually fell behind in CS really hard. Karthus got a level 2 blue. Even Nyjacky can't beat scrubs in solo-q when saint feeds enemy double buff at level 2. Well, TSM got a nice mid gank where Reginald kill Karthus and get a blue buff. Still lose terribly. Reginald still is bad but he still thinks hes one of the best mid in the world. Hes not even in the top 10 on my list. EDIT: Is CLG.eu just sitting their ass of waiting for TSM?

Easy to be consistent when you only play teams that are worse than you. You do realize they took a game off TPA in an official serious match. As in TPA the world champion who ROFL-stomped AZF in 3 straight games? Still got beat. I think that M5 is probably better than CLGeu. But acting like M5 is incredibly more consistent or significantly ahead of CLGeu is silly. It's like people who tried to claim TSM was the best team in the world because they won so many LANs while neglecting the fact that they were all NA LANs lol. M5's only wins are EU LANs. They've dropped an EU LAN to CLGeu. They've only played one foreign event and they lost.

so many delays and no info, just a "coming up next, go stare at screen for one hour, noobs". Meanwhile they dont even stream all games. No idea why MLG is so big, looks very mismanaged.

China has IG and WE who are both very good but outside of that its pretty rough. TPA is great but the other TW teams are nowhere near them. M5 and (maybe) CLG.EU are good but the rest of EU is pretty far behind. The main reason that China lags behind Korea IMO is that Korea had a massively greater infusion of talent at the start of it's competitive scene. Korean LoL more or less started with a small handful of semi-pro players who would form the first 3 Korean pro teams. They more or less covered every role in significant capacity, which would lead to bringing up future talent very rapidly. Chinese LoL started with basically nothing--the only knowhow they started with was CCM/iG picking up HKEGG, and even then they only kept Wh1t3zz and MikakoTabe. It's no coincidence that TF is China's signature AP, that Chinese bot lanes are so strong, and that Chinese top and jungle play is lacking.

In the pregame chat that we got to listen in to Regi even said that he hasn't played Zil since before Worlds, so it makes sense that he didn't have his best game just now. Should he have gone with the pick then? Probably not, but it seemed like a team-decision anyway. I'm not saying he is the best, but he isn't That bad.
