BM happened in many instances in SC:BW. That didn't take away from the professionalism of the game at all. Heck, if you typed in game you were disqualified lol.

I don't like it there and I didn't like it here but let's not make a big deal out of it. Not like I called for Dyrus/TSM to get disqualified for this or anything. Just to be clear, I like Dyrus and I don't think the laugh spam was a big deal, it was just a little annoying and more appropriate for solo queue play than for a finals of one of the biggest tournaments of the year. Anyway, I hope TSM put up a good showing at worlds and we don't see too much domination by any one region.

Wouldn't really recommend any of the finals games. They were pretty much stomps.
3rd place match I don't remember each game clearly but it was a much better series.

My first live event, so worth it. The atmosphere is so much greater that watching at home in bed on my laptop. I shall remember this for a long time to come.

I think stuff like that adds a bit of excitement and personality for the fans. Like the whole FBH fiasco made FBH fans really laugh with him and some BM helped make grudge matches between players. For exmaple he bm'd Much's teammate (i forgot who :x), so Much in return then made a fricken pylon heart in the middle of the map. To me that was one of the most hilarious moments in e-sports. That game also had a ton of good plays with some awesome shuttle micro and good defenses, but it's knowing that the player actually has some personality that shows in their play that really gets a lot of people to become fans. If it's not simply their stellar play, it's their personality that draws people in.
Obviously not everyone likes the same thing, but I don't think it hurts e-sports at all. It happens in every professional game and doesn't hurt any of them. At the very least, it adds even more excitement for some tryhard fans.

Without individual player personalities it would just be like watching robots play League. Sometimes the idea of "professionalism" is taken a little too far.

what's most disturbing about this tournament is that gragas and morg are by far the two best AP mids with the current style. Some other ones, very few, but roamers like kat and especially sion have the same strengths though not the same utility as grags/morg, but both are better roamers than morg so perhaps they will and should be picked more in season 2 finals.

Picking Skarner INTO Shen is pretty stupid though. Shen is like the strongest anti-midgame aggresion champion in the game. If Shen is banned or you have him on your side then that's different. thats not the direct cause of why skarner got screwed over early though, it's the skarner + ryze combo vs shyv + morg, skarner is more vulnerable to counterjungling than most and with a morg who has blue lv1 and just keeps pushing he cant contest anything. Ryze is exceptionally bad at pushing though. Skarner wouldn't have nearly that many problems if they picked any of the other popular middle lanes (gragas, orianna). It's not like picking any of those mids would worsen the teamcomp in any significant way tbh. I agree but you could also make the case that nunu would've screwed with skarner even harder, it's no secret skarner is indeed vulnerable to counterjungling and early aggression, he is best counterganking. thats just as equally the AP pick at work though. its no secret that morg is a better pusher, ganker, and counterganker than ryze - if she is allowed to push and given heavier early jungle support (early blue) as she was of course her strength in the jungle will be greater than ryze's and thus her own jungler's strength in the enemy jungle
But I think with two equal mids like morg vs gragas, skarner will still be weaker in the very early stages compared to counterjunglers

Not sounding like a 5 year old =/= being like a robot, though.

Also, I'm watching Nicegame's vod right now and just got to scarra's 0-2 missign. Prophetic.

In SC2, players always dance their units. I don't see the same reaction on that, I think it's kinda odd.

Karthus would've been picked more had he not been banned like EVERY SINGLE GAME. >_<

Also, is it serious to put CLG.NA before CLG.EU ?

Got my Team Liquid shirt signed by Dan Dinh, Phreak, Reginald, Dyrus, Xpecial, Chaox, TheOddOne, Voyboy, HotshotGG, Doublelift, Chauster, Saintvicious, Rivington III, Scarra, Nony (yay!), Hawk, and Suppy. Satisfied, I am. :D

Kevin Garnett. Michael Jordan. Larry Bird. All great trashtalkers.
Trashtalk is fine. The problem isn't TSM, its teams like Dig that insult the skill of players that just stomped the shit out of them.

This is like the least hate I've heard him getting after trash talking, honestly. I mean I disliked what he said, but I've always been unable to stand listening to Regi for over 5 seconds. This is probably the most warranted his trash talk has been, even if some people dislike it. I think Regi wants to be a villain, so I doubt he minds pissing some people off. Anyways, I look forward to regional to find out whether NA truly is as bad as they seem right now. or if the other regions are being overestimated.
