Heck people drive from Toronto so its a decent midpoint. Raleigh... I dunno. I guess MLG has a deal with their convention centre? | ||

Probably also want geographical spread as well to make it seem like a whole-America thing. Anaheim and Providence must be expensive to do. | ||

The reason you don't see stuff in San Fran, besides the cost, is that West Coast MLGs have had the lowest attendance since the Halo days. | ||

The reason they get good crowds from Raleigh is because Raleigh is the anchor of the Carolina research triangle. Tons of young techy people and econ growth. | ||

NC is good because of travel expenses, it's not as far as Florida for people in the northeast and you don't have the craziness of Atlanta. Also, not that it matters, but the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area is like one of the fastest growing economic areas in the country. The best part of Raleigh is how all the pro players mispronounce it as "rally" too. | ||
