At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012 |
HotshotGG has a really asymmetrical face.
Edit - my god people's sarcasm meter is broken

He's making a sarcastic jab at Two_DoWn.
Let's ease up on the hyperbole now.
aAa is looking top notch. No denying.

He's American- we go by what have you done for me lately- and coming into the event aAa had underperformed in big tournaments. That and I dont think Riot employees actually know anything about European teams- just look at how we had to feed them the power rank for EU.

Kinda to hard to detect online. Even more so if you don't 'know the context.

iem lol getting 90k viewers while iem sc2 gets bearly 20k. Too bad lol isn't an esport. I think the LoL stream is embedded in the client. That and LoL has a bigger fanbase/audience because it is well, free to play. Current viewers are lacklustre at the moment though. Assembly had about 40-50k viewers by the finals. And IEM Kiev had 215k for LoL finals and Kings of Europe (which was not embedded/linked to client) had over 90k 215k? Seriously? That's some huge numbers. Is this concurrent/unique viewers or? lol, you must be new around here. Yes, unique and concurrent for Kiev Finals. Yes I am new here. I always knew LoL viewers have always been larger than SC2 ones but 215k is unheard of for me. Don't take it to serious but the lol number discussion comes up every time. Everybody here loves SC, but is tired of arguing lol numbers. Yea I guess we become a little defensive, with all the "lol is not a proper esport" and all that shit being thrown around. Then you look at pure numbers and they're not just about a different story, but a whole differentl trilogy in another universe. I don't blame the LoL fanbase. I sometimes feel that the SC2 viewers are too elitist and don't think of the bigger picture in making E-Sports really viable. Also is there another stream that I can watch? Main stream isn't showing anything remotely interesting... but rather full of awkwardness.
As a fan of both games I really dont understand why SC2 players hate on LoL so much with the reason it is an easier game because isn't that the same thing BW fans say about SC2?

They're at Hannover as fans. CLG.eu didn't attend any IEMs under the CLG banner. mTw kept their circuit points.

But it's ok. What Riot is doing is going to be emulated by gaming companies for years to come
