At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread.

At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament.

Thanks.

iem lol getting 90k viewers while iem sc2 gets bearly 20k. Too bad lol isn't an esport.

I think the LoL stream is embedded in the client. That and LoL has a bigger fanbase/audience because it is well, free to play.

Current viewers are lacklustre at the moment though. Assembly had about 40-50k viewers by the finals.

And IEM Kiev had 215k for LoL finals and Kings of Europe (which was not embedded/linked to client) had over 90k

215k? Seriously? That's some huge numbers. Is this concurrent/unique viewers or?

lol, you must be new around here.

Yes, unique and concurrent for Kiev Finals.

Yes I am new here. I always knew LoL viewers have always been larger than SC2 ones but 215k is unheard of for me.

Dreamhack 2011 summer already broke 200k for the finals.

Don't take it to serious but the lol number discussion comes up every time. Everybody here loves SC, but is tired of arguing lol numbers.

Hmm. It appears that all 4 teams are still in the mix- aAa can drop 2 games to go to 3-2, clg can hit 3-2 with a win over aAa and a loss to fnatic which would put fnatic at 3-2, and dig would go to 4-1.

Tha'd be one hell of a tiebreaker.

They're handing out freebies. There's only a few games left for today, so they're waiting it out. IEM is being considerate and wants to air all the relevant games that affect the end results of this group stage.

aTn just won vs Fnatic, so they should be starting a CLG game soon.

Alternate just threw everything out of the window after that upset lol.

AAA v CLG and Fnatic v CLG are going to be awesome.
Go go Alliance.

And dota 2 is going to crush lol because valve=esports and people like games where the chinese dominate.

Iem has said that they won't have both lol and dota 2 on the circut. And valve has never done anything to make me think that they can make Dota 2 worked when css failed. Not to mention the lawsuit that blizz is taking to valve over it.

Do you have source for this?

They said no to Dota2 for EPS

Yea I guess we become a little defensive, with all the "lol is not a proper esport" and all that shit being thrown around. Then you look at pure numbers and they're not just about a different story, but a whole differentl trilogy in another universe.

They made a competition for some prices. The last one was an Intel CPU. They got 4 guys and a girl up on stage. The person to scream loudest got the CPU. They used a device to measure it and the last guy won after the other three failed to scream louder then the girl that went first.

aAa will just go 5-0.

The decisive match will be 2-2Fnatic vs 2-2CLG.

Even if CLG beat aAa and goes 3-1, it'll still not matter since if CLG loses to Fnatic who's 2-2, they'll go even at 3-2 and Fnatic has the H2H in their favor for both vsCLG and vsDignitas.

And this is finally going to get interesting. aAa against the 2 teams who are probably going to make it through. Be interesting to see how they perform against the na teams.

And they dont use head to head for tiebreaks- they use time.
