At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012 |

Quarter finals could be that way too but I think that at least CLG vs Curse will be kind of close. I think that if CLG wins the best match up of the entire tournament will be CLG vs M5. Easily the two strongest teams at this event imo. Also, for my prediction, I think whoever wins CLG vs M5 takes it all but I think Dignitas can probably beat either of those teams. SK fails too often. Curse has the same problem. aAa is pretty strong but I don't think they're at the same level as CLG/M5/Dig.
Why is that so? As a newcomer i would've thougth that such a big community would have at least 10 teams that could win such an event. Now it seems more like there are only 3-4 teams capable of such a thing.

Cause there aren't 10+ teams all at the same level. Despite this being the IEM Season 6 Championships, there is still a huge discrepancy between teams.

Think of it like IdrA being put in a group with 5 Koreans Protosses. It's not that the teams are bad per-se, but the better teams generally advance, and you can kinda expect how group stages to go minus a few hiccups. Even in BO1s, solid teams find ways to dig themselves out of bad situations.

Elementz awkward for no reason, but not more awkward than HSGG acting like Deman was holding the mic at his knees.

Well despite them all saying it worked out fine, Elementz gotta be pumped / nervous / excited about playing the team that dumped him on a really big stage

Getting tons of lag on Twitch tonight :/
Oh well.

Rooting for CLG.
I hope they stick with standard bottom lane combos(No Blitztar Please!). I hope they give Doublelift some really strong late game carries and that the strong Doublelift shows up not the derp that shows up sometimes. Hope Jiji is just as strong as he was yesterday.

I like the player-specific bans as opposed to general champion bans as in solo queue.
