At any point of IEM Season 6 Championship, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Hannover but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 06.03.2012 |

So TSM needs to beat SK, and M5 need to beat SK for TSM to have a chance for advancing.
If SK beat M5, even if TSM beat SK, they can't advance as Curse will advance over TSM due to head-to-head.
No , for the last scenario all TSM,SK,Curse will be 3-2. 3 people tied for 2 spots. So they will do a tiebreaker

I hate those giveaways...
They did that too with the K9 Nasus keys at Gamescom at the Riot Booth. It was impossible to get close to the booths on saturday or sunday without having to elbow your way through 10 rows of sweaty guys. Ugh.

So if TSM can beat SK both end up 3-2. On head-to-head Curse > TSM. Therefore they need SK to lose to M5 so all three of them end up 3-2 and then it comes down to game time.

EDIT: Nope, just one. Wonder what to do with it.

Ah ok i thought head to head scored never mattered. In that case i expect TSM to be out.

I can't remember against who this game was but there new jungler was playing a real strong lee sin, also Nyph and Candypanda generaly do well so i wouldn't give al credit to Oce althougt i would say he is there strongest player.

Basically, assuming that Ehome loses every game there is only one possible scenario where someone other than M5, SK, Crs goes through, with Crs as 3 seed and M5/SK seeding determined by next game.

Could M5 throw game and still advance as 1 seed just to screw over TSM?

We are gonna find out now. aAa went from 3-0 against bad teams to 3-2 and devistating losses to the only 2 good teams in the group. I lean closer to the latter 2 games as of being representative over the first.
Its gonna be the same for Sk right now.

Nah, I got mine after I posted my Gamescom ticket on the Euw forums in a huge thread with other people unable to get one.
I just hated that kind of atmosphere of people being so greedy that they line up in massive crowds for t-shirts or keychains...

Edit : Yeah what i meant by tiebreaker is the time rating tiebreaker. Sorry for vagueness

On March 07 2012 23:40 seanisgrand wrote: Could M5 throw game and still advance as 1 seed just to screw over TSM? They are almost certainly the 2 seed if they throw, potentially the 3 seed. They cannot be the 1 seed if they lose this game.
M5 guaranteed to advance from this group (assuming Ehome loses). M5 vs. SK determines seeding and potentially more if Sk loses.

Ah ok thx for the info :D

Anyway, considering the mental edge M5 seem to have over TSM at this point, you'd think they'd want to keep them in, haha.
