At any point of IEM Kiev, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. (e.g. "Day 2: M5 hype was everything people expected") At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Kiev but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 20.1.2012 |

Stream is probably right? I just wrote that down since Shawn (an IEM admin) confirmed Viktor patch earlier in the thread. I'll add a note to the OP or something.

So this tournament is held in EU time zone. What are the stream viewership numbers like?

Considering the bans in the first game, i am not so sure. After all they are just riot employers :-)

~40k at the moment

I'm dumb, there's even been scrims with CLG EU recently, guess I'm not "serious" enough when it comes to following teams.
@Neo: looked like 40k on the official stream, didn't look at the others (MilleniumTV has several thousands from what I recall).

That neo still assuming its wickds irelia he didn't sleep since his convo with me after I played like a derphead against it. Although I checked his profile in S2 he has 150 irelia games 70% win. Which is really damn high for LoL especially when he isn't exactly that tryhard.
Trinity force is back in on irelia it went out of fashion for a while on EU, I have no idea why.
Also in solo queue I played with their AD carry player and everyone was flaming him about never going to win a game in kiev afterhe failed bottom lane and then hestarted trolling feeding and then afk'd and was like AT LEAST I'M GOING TO KIEV.
Don't think it's a very good attitude xD.

It's 1:30pm CET on a Thursday right now so it's pretty good imo considering most people are at work/school :>

EU timezone when most people in EU will be at work isn't a good benchmark. edit: LOL ATTACK OF THE OVERLY DEFENSIVE EUROPEANS.

haha reminds me of the "does nationality matter" thread
does someone recall the viewer numbers of recent big tournaments? i thought it is about 100k or 120k peak?

It is more positive than negative that there are not THAT many viewers at that time, as people are actually working.
Its just an explanation for a rather obvious matter.
