We'd probably see a lot less Korean dominance in SC2 as well if no notable SC1 players made the switch, and if the NA/EU release of the game had a 1-2 year head start. Also in SC2, a big difference between Korean SC2 and Western SC2 is the practice habits. In LoL, practice habits are more or less the same across regions and if anything NA LoL has stepped up their practice regime with constant scrims and such.

XXF played for Malaysia.

Well, that's kinda what I'm saying. People were giving iG so much credit but they underwhelmingly went 0-2. Just because CN is heads and shoulders above the international community in DotA doesn't mean par in LoL.
I'll admit I expected closer games (iG vs CA CLG) but just shows that NA is still vastly ahead and the other servers have a lot of catching up to do.

One of the teams iG beat yesterday was Dignitas,

I think you might be inferring too much from just one set. Bear in mind this is the same team that 3-0ed their group yesterday with a win against Dignitas. Also note that WE beat CLG at IEM Guangzhou and iG had to beat them to get here.
The skill levels between the top teams in each region is fairly close, IMO. Not enough that you can distinctively say that one region is leading or trailing by a huge margin.

Practice habits play a big role in the Korea v. Foreigner skill level in SC2. Not necessarily so in LoL.

I think the only thing this WCG is proving is that when american server teams can reduce the game to solo q style, they will win.
Well, CDE and CLG at least. Dig is a step behind when it comes to single player strength.

The poke comp CLG used in game 1 was hardly solo queue style...

Can someone link the stream. Thanks

OH SNAP, it's my support nunu (but I run heal). He's even using him with the correct AD.
edit: and I hope they lose so people think it's a troll pick and sucks. I'm 8-1 so far.

League of legends is supposed to be on AFTER the wc3 grand finals. I hate you wcg.

Poland vs. Canada? So EDG already lost as well?

That's probably why only game 1 of this series is being played off-stage and the rest on main/second stage. Would you rather it just not be streamed?

Does anyone know if anyone is casting the current CA game?
