Chauster will win that poll. It doesn't matter if he is or isn't the MVP. He's the most popular and the biggest name on that list, so he'll win easy.
I think for future events they shouldn't do this by a poll. I guess if all you get is the hoodie then who cares but I thought Hotshot won some pricey computer gear at Cologne? What they should do is give the MVP award to someone on the team that wins the whole tournament. Let the ESL admins and casters vote on which player that should be. You can't really "carry" the event if your team doesn't win it so if Chauster wins the MVP award but WE wins the event it'll be really stupid imo.
Also, I think that CLG will win only if they play smart in lane. If they play smart they can't get ganked and if they don't get ganked and it goes to late game I think CLG will win easy because their team fighting just seems way better than the Chinese teams.
edit: btw, I think Misaya is by far the hardest carry since Whitez/MikakoTabe aren't in the tournament anymore. Still think the award shouldn't be decided until after the champions are declared though cause the notion of carrying a team that loses makes zero sense.

I voted Chauster. His play this weekend has been close to perfect for me. Pretty much the easy decision for me.

Meh, Chauster's done his job, but nothing out of the ordinary. Saint's counterjungling has been pretty spot on though and really did help CLG easily cruise in games 2 and 3.
|
The game on the restream now is game 2 of WE vs EH right? So one more then SK vs CLG if that's the case, wasn't able to catch SK vs CLG last night -_-
|
I know he would never win the MVP, but I think that elementz did a great job on that roaming taric in the last game against SK. He's a big part of the reason that amumu was so behind and SV could counter jungle so much. Having support + jungler run into your jungle is so much scarier.

It will be here once it's uploaded http://iemchina.leagueoflegends.com/match/semi-final-2-sk-gaming-vs-clg
Also, is this the official forum for the LoL IEM Finals??? If so, why is there no link on Riot's own website,
No, TL is not official LoL forums, the casters refer here often because the official forums load really slow for them in China, but TL works well, plus a few of them read these boards anyway.
and is ESL or own3dtv the main place to watch or??? AND which IRC is the main one? tsm or????? Why did it take me like half a day just to find all these things, all I wanted to do is watch some games ....in HQ rofl we wish
Own3d.tv has the majority of LoL streamers. Dunno how it can take you half a day to find this info when I found most of it in 2 minutes by looking at the main page in the official LoL site.

Boo Steve. I did have the link in the OP (at the top of the page too)!
edit: Oh yeah, I also updated the OP with the bans/picks from the non-streamed games. It looks like Flash did go for jungle TF and J4 mid in one game.

Chauster's play in group stage was pretty bad as well. I feel like he's only on that poll because of his Sivir game.

Watching eHOME v WE. eHOME keeps diving towers and not just forcing them back and then picking up the turret. They keep insisting on continuing the chase. But at the same time, WE keeps giving up Barons, but not much else they can do. Hm.
|
eHOME didn't really have pushing power on those towers, no one with high range and gragas + TF dropping minion waves instantly.

It felt to me that when Garen came around, WE backed off their tower really fast. I keep thinking maybe Garen could have scared them off the tower and let Vayne dps it down. But then Vayne went for an AS build so hm...
Also, I don't understand the Triple Doran, Wirggles, PD, QSS.

If there's one complaint to ESL, it's they show all the downtime inbetween games and series on the rerun

I can't stand the downtime. I'm just going to wait for the VODs later. There's like 30+ min between games.
|
Are the VoDs free though? I thought you needed ESL Premium or something to watch IEM vods.

The only exciting SK vs CLG game was game 3 anyways imo.
+ Show Spoiler +First two were basically just roflstomps.

Pool A VODs are up on the Riot website, so it's just a matter of time until the other games are up too.
