The decisions to have useless names in the game (2 letters) is the main culprit. Between this and the fact that almost all voters will be from EU/US, the Asian players have virtually no chance. SV will probably win.
The jungler for Ig played very strongly, SV played very well, Chauster played decent, but nothing spectacular, CandyPanda only had one notable game that I remember (kog is overpowered come lategame, so its rather misleading to just look at him doing a lot of damage / getting kills at end of game). you have to realize that the 2 letter names are actually their full names, many chinese players dont use many letters, in fact some of the most famous ones dont exceed 3 letters, 820, zou, kss, etc
Chinese characters are all 1 syllable, and all names are either 2 or 3 characters (including 1 for the last name). That's why the 2 letter initial is really common.

PDD is Ehome's solo top (Garen, Akali). Lucky is Ehome's jungler (Fiddlesticks). Misaya is WE's solo mid (TF, Karthus).
I agree that more of the Chinese players would have been worthy of a nomination but there was the limitation of six overall and at least one from each top 4 team.
People I would like to see on that list: WE's bottom lane, SK's bottom lane (not only CP).

I felt like Max (the morg) carried harder than the Fiddle that got caught out of position so many times. Surprised only one player from WE was nominated, I think their Ez player or Galio player deserve to be nominated as well.

Their Ez should have been nominated. He carried them real hard. But yea SV will probably win though.

Wtf where is Nyph nomination carried SK quite well !

Our own poll for those with no ESL account. And to see if TL's opinion is different from the rest of the world (difficult with Zenon and Joe talking about TL so much)

voted saint as of now didn't watch the elimination stage so maybe not the most accurate vote, but for the bo3 vs SK saint really showed the biggest diff between the two teams
|
When I said where I meant what part it's at. I want to know how long it is before SK versus CLG starts or if I missed it already.
It looks like it's before game 2 or 3 of WE versus ehome so I should be safe

That basically let Saint do whatever he wanted during laning phase, and gave him a huge edge in teamfights, where he had more gold and higher levels the entire game. They intentionally gimped that Amumu from the start so that they could have that advantage. Great strategical thinking by CLG.
EDIT: Of course, that doesn't mean that Saint isn't a complete boss, because he is. His GP was inspiring.

So ... why is there like an hour long delay between each game in this restream?

All I want to do is watch SK vs CLG replay, why is it so hard to find. Also, is this the official forum for the LoL IEM Finals??? If so, why is there no link on Riot's own website, and is ESL or own3dtv the main place to watch or??? AND which IRC is the main one? tsm or????? Why did it take me like half a day just to find all these things, all I wanted to do is watch some games ....in HQ rofl we wish

I'm surprised you didn't mention game 2, where his Udyr carried the hell out of their team, and SK's GP was completely useless for the entirety of the match (also partly due to counterjungle). SV is so strong on Udyr when he can pick him, and completely dominated that match.

I remember thinking Udyr was an unstoppable beast, but I think I was playing a round on SR while the start of that game was going on.
