Let's discuss some Urgot strategy. I'll start off with my usual buildpath? (I usually play him top)
I mainly start LS 3 pots and rush either tear -> brutalizer or bruta first based on how fed I am on first back. I usually need to get enough farm to get one or the other on first back. after that I finish manamune / CDR boots then start finishing black cleaver. After BC it's LW into BT. After that the game is usually over, and I'm either building a defensive item like GA or QSS, or if the game is obviously won I'll buy a trolly item like essence reaver.

So I totally didn't realize there was a formatting guide to this stuff. I'll leave what's above just as a reminder to myself.
(This is my usual build) Masteries: http://leaguecraft.com/masteries/042003000103030103012200130010000000000000000000000000000
Runes: I usually try to balance AD / ArPen while having armor seals and MR blues. ( Around +8 ArPen +9 AD)
Skill order: Q - E - Q - W - Q - R - Q - E - Q - E - R - E - E - W - W - R - W
Item order is above.
I usually take Ignite / flash and go super aggressive early against nearly every matchup just because of how high Urgot's early game damage is.

I'm no Urgot pro, but I think he's best played as a support. Just look at his kit. AOE armour shred, damage reduction on his q and auto attacks, and the ult. His ult isn't something you ever want your solo laner or ADC to use. But a support on the other hand can use it to full effect. It gives a ton of free defensive stats and sacrificing your support for ADC or support for Mid lane in a team fight is huge. Along with your support getting into the backline to shred armour and reduce the carry's damage.
Typically I try to Q one enemy and auto another to proc Urgot's passive on two enemies at the same time.
My build is usually spell thief - tear - sightstone - tabi/mercs - frozen heart/black cleaver.

It's sad that Essence Reaver is still a noobtrap item. It could've been an ideal fit for Urgot if Manamune wasn't so good and if Essence Reaver was just slight bit better to be viable.

The best Urgot strategy is to not choose Urgot tbh. He is like the only champion with a ton of weaknesses and no redeeming factors.

Urgot is the one and only champion that I've refunded after purchase. I'd be curious as to how well you're seeing him perform in your games. Could you provide some match histories to help me get a better sense for his laning and item timings?

TBH I wouldn't play urgot in bot lane any more. The times I've picked him have been either mid or top against stuff that I can bully.
Muramana is too good not to get, but I would probably go triple longsword>brutalizer before completing it. Generally I try and go a bit tankier after that, usually a hex(vs AP). CDR boots are a must, gotta get enough CDR to launch 4 Q's off a grenade, and even some CDR blues() are good too.
Urgot is like a worse version of cass right now with respect to laning, and at the end of the day, you're still playing urgot
Runepage I use is full arpen red/quint, armor yellow and a mix of flat CDR and flat MR. Not sure if getting enough CDR to launch 4 at level 3 is worth it, because at that point in the game your mana pool can only do that once before going oom.

If you want to post a guide and start a champion thread, can you elaborate on Urgot's gameplay? How do you handle certain champions/how do you harass, how do you lane, etc?
Because I can find guides like yours on Mobafire, and to be fair most of them are more extensive than what you have here.

This is insufficient information to start a guide thread with. You can continue the Urgot discussion here: http://www.liquidlegends.net/forum/lol-strategy/166105-champion-urgot
The linked guide is incredibly old, but we use general champion threads for general discussion. If you have a more up to date and sufficiently detailed guide, then feel free to make a new topic.
