I've had some trouble getting it. I'm not 100% sure how it works exactly, but I believe that even a few zerg units being sent to a base means that this base is no longer eligible for the achievement requirements. After killing all enemy units in the first base, I remember seeing Kerrigan going towards the fourth base (the one to the east). She killed some units in the corridor, but I was able to get this achievement regardless. I got it by destroying the northwest base first and then the eastern base, i.e both bases that are furthest from your base.

![]() For the mastery achievement: Kerrigan's forces will take the blue path. You need to take the red path, and take out those two crystals before she finishes off the first crystal and makes her way to one of those other crystals you're going for.

This is what I did. I had the solarite bug (no solarite in archives). I loaded a save where I'm on the harbinger of oblivion mission with all solarite and I restarted the mission. Here is a video showing the dark archons + Show Spoiler +

I had the kind of wall that we use in ladder, i.e., a probe or zealot on hold position can keep Kerrigan and her units in her base. I would let out her units when there was an attack on my base (so I didn't have to bring my army home). Also, don't forget to steal Kerrigan's gas xD Makes chargelot/archon (w/ a handful of stalkers) much faster to get off the ground. (Using orbital assimilators, of course).

I don't even know when I'm violating the conditions of the achievement. @_@ What kind of walls did you guys make to prevent the swarm from doing anything? And damn, this solarite bug is annoying. No need for walling kerrigan off, she's useful. Kerrigan's forces will attack the one in the middle, so you destroy the left bottom one. After that, Kerrigan will have broken the middle one (she won't destroy the crystal and you shouldn't either) and she moves on to top left. You then kill the crystal in the top right--> achievement
