There is no mention of the editor in the Blizzard advertisement for the pre-order, here: https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/starcraft-ii-legacy-of-the-void I'm fairly certain the pre-order simply grants you access to the beta, and gives you some goodies. TL;DR - No, probably. Thank you.

Simple question: Is there a build that I can use that will emulate this? I've been going 14 depot and 15 rax and a 17 cc and then 300 minerals 2 rax and blah blah blah, but I'm sure that there has to be some simplifications that can be made. Simple Question: 13 depot or 14? why? (imo on 14 depot, it's actualy a 16 rax because you float 50 ish min and might as well queue up the 16th scv.

i rally my 13th scv straight to the ramp and i get 100g right when it gets there E: I should note that there are a couple maps where this doesn't work as nicely, but queueing the 14th scv then dropping the depot after, even if the scv is there for a few seconds is probably fine.

It's extremely APM intensive, brings back memories of reaver drops from BW (not the same race but whatever), and makes tanks a bit more viable. Is it just cause it looks weird/stupid (subjective anyway?) Because its preventing siege tank from being buffed in another way as it would be too mobile while dealing too much damage if its being able to be picked up/dropped in siege position. Siege tank is already as of now bit lackluster as other units overshadow it/does better job in zone control like the cyclone and liberator. It doesn't do its immobility without justice in its damage dealt and adding mobility just means nothing will be made up for it as it could completely break siege tank. The whole idea of siege tank was trading its entire mobility for power and idea of medivac pickup/drop completely shatters the idea. Maybe picking up siege mode/dropping unsieged would be fine but drop/pick up in sieged mode entirely is silly

Maybe picking up siege mode/dropping unsieged would be fine but drop/pick up in sieged mode entirely is silly i dont think the liberator does as good of a job with space control as the siege tank, but terran is currently my off race so that might be off base. 3/3 upgraded tanks in a mech army shred zerg up and liberators on top of them make everything else melt too. anyway, i havent heard anyone hating the siege tank medivac micro. the only thing that people need to do is make sure they macro behind it because there have been many times where i get some guy picking up and dropping but forgetting to make units and expand behind it..so ill lose a queen and a couple drones but it doesn't matter since i have 3 bases and have been teching/upgrading while he's dancing around pretending he's at the GSL. that said, its annoying and you can seriously fuck with someone using this which definitely prevents the siege tank from getting a buff. played well, though you can infinitely kite a zerg defending your mech using medivac(s) and boost. i watched morrow absolutely school someone the other day with a couple siege tanks and picking them up whenever they were in danger and dropping them when their attack was off cd. tl;dr tanks offer different kind of space control when you mech, it allows you to seriously outplay your opponent, but it definitely prevents blizzard from buffing them or they'd be too strong On August 16 2015 07:19 Crazychris1311 wrote: Why are there no talks of nerfing the Adept or buffing bio health for terran? At this point TvP honestly seems unwinable and TvZ is just as hard considering there are so many splash damage units that just decimate a bio army. Was the point of this expansion to move Terran to mech play only? currently blizzard is in the design stage of the beta. eventually when they have the game design where they want it, they will fine tune things like adepts, which, IMO, need a nerf ![]()

With all the radical changes brought about by LotV (removal of macro mechanics), where do I begin? I want to learn how to play again, and I don't mean "use the left mouse button to select, right mouse button to move, a + left click to attack-move," but rather build orders, map quirks (like tank siege spots), and more importantly, what the new units do. Is there something like Purge's or Merlini's channel for Starcraft? Purge and Merlini are educational casters/YouTubers, with the former focusing on beginner to intermediate play and the latter on higher-level play (Merlini was known for playing Zeus back in his progaming days). In DotA 2, I simply go to either channel or just look up one of our very own Torte De Lini's guides. Does Day9 still do educational Starcraft 2 streams?
