Not happy about the CDR/Haste change. Hate how so many items have Crit chance thrown onto them for seemingly no reason.

Maokai is probably the 5th or 6th Best tank in the game right now and he’s eating a nerf?

Interesting thing about the tanks at the moment is that they are actually pretty strong and impacting, however, there is not a single one where you are like: fuuck I am gonna struggle when you see it picked in the enemy team or shit we need to carry this one when in your team. Perhaps an enemy Shen is the only exception but not with much

Don't buff Poppy. Fuck that champion. I legit preferred playing against old poppy to current poppy.
And I say that as someone who occasionally pulls out the Warrior Poppy jungle and 1v9s because no one expects the nutty 3.8 bonus AD ratio on the kit in conjunction with the high base damage. For reference, Zed with R damage amp has a 4.1 bonus AD ratio on his kit.

You can legit one shot almost any champion in the game if you can E then into a wall. Squishy shit dies even if you don't hit the E double damage. Looking at you, Nidalee / Lillia. It's hidden op, imo. That and you can't lose the stupid 5050 smitefights people love to take in platinum... Cuts down on the innate flame for being a jungler quite a bit. Although, you do have to deal with people who don't understand it's good. Though usually that goes away after you one shot something.
It's particularly bonkers against Nidalee. It's what turned me on to the pick in the first place, I more or less one tricked Nida for a good 300 games this season, and like... Poppy just poops all over her kit then one shots her. If stop a jump you auto kill anything in the game, lol.
Edit: also have to say... With Riot giving every camp more eHP and killing kiting by increasing camp movespeed.... They've effectively destroyed my entire champ pool with one fell swoop. Playing a few games on PBE... Graves, Nidalee, and Kindred all more or less can't clear the jungle like they could before. All going from some of the fastest / healthiest clears in the game to being slow and unhealthy. Although maybe they aren't too much slower than other stuff, but it's looking kind of bleak. Maybe I'm officially a jungle poppy one trick.

It reads like a warning for negative behavior, but my last game yesterday I got 3 honors for playing Lulu almost carrying a dead beat team to a win. I barely write in chat and I've flamed someone exactly once in the last few months.

He has been slept on, he has been one of the highest winrate champions in the last handful of patches. Ban Mordekaiser and he claps most of the common toplaners.
100% a nerf because Riot dont like an ez-mode tank beat the flashy popular champions.

I've been honor 5 since basically start of the season (joys of being enchanter main) and I got. Think everyone just get it.

Honestly forcing everyone to click a button to get into the client will probably make toxic players nicer

Hard to say on PBE, but the game feels reaallly snowbally at the moment. Like, first champion that finished a mythic just takes over the game. Being 500 gold ahead means you get a mythic first and are like twice a sstrong as your lane opponent. It's like Triforce spike on steroids for every champ in the game.
Tank + Enchanter Mythics are pretty bad right now, fullstop. Every other class kind of gets a mythic that synergizes with what they want to do, but Tank ones are just like...Sunfire cape immolate does more damage. Meanwhile, it feels bad to build a tank mythic first item because 30% of the stats you're buying actively dont help you in lane. On top of that, more or less there is the same amount of damage creep being added as when keystone masteries first came out. Tanks get blown up by literally everything.
Assassin items feel oppressively strong with the actives, but not sure how much of that is just PBE skill difference, so they will probably less strong on live.

has anyone else experienced fps drops after the new patch?
i normally play on 144 but after a while my fps randomly drops to 60 and doesnt go back up. when it gets bad it even goes down to 45. i dunno if its cause im older now but im pretty sensitive to this shit now and it stresses me out to the point lol becomes unplayable.

No, but I have noticed that certain champions and skins cause massive FPS drops. For example, that new shiny white Lux skin drops my FPS from 240 to 190 whenever she uses a spell. I don't notice it bc I still have an old 60 Hz monitor, but if multiple new skins are in my game I've seen it drop as low as 150, that's an almost 40% fps drop.

hmm. never occured to me that it may be because of the skins. in that case im fucked cause theres nothing you can do about it.
wish lol had an option to disable skins entirely. been wanting this forever

100% agree, especially regarding the clarity of many new skins. The reason I picked up the fps drop with that Lux skin is because every single time, without fail, I mistake her for Soraka until I see the champ icon. Since I hate that skin with a passion (invisible abilities), it wasn't hard to notice the fps drops during fights either.

well i can confirm that it has nothing to do with skins for me, because opening a game with practice tool has the same problem. changing graphics settings has zero effect on fps also, so the only thing that pops to mind is that this patch brought back the worlds theme settings. even with those settings disabled there must be something in the patch itself that bugs video performance because this hasnt happened before

for anyone who experiences the same problem i found the solution. had to disable full screen optimisation for lol and my fps came straight back to a solid 144. seems like a windows 10 issue

The amount of random shit Windows 10 breaks with all its optimisation bullshit is so fucking annoying. So much is also hardcoded into the OS and impossible to remove without severe issues.

I started playing Sett mid after seeing it at worlds and it’s the closest I’ve felt to playing old Nunu since old Nunu got removed from the game. He’s just got the same big dumb idiot playmaking where he initiates fights by getting “caught “ and living while chunking everyone who tries to go on him.
I really enjoy it

I went to reddit to see if they found new ways to bash TSM, but it seems like 90% of posts are complaints about Seraphine. I don't get why people care so much about the champion and whatever whale-milking strategy Riot uses her for. She's about as (un)interesting as Neeko and yet she got like thrice as much attention as Samira did.

Is it really that bad? Her kit looks similar, but she still seems decently unique. Imo Yone looked far similar to Yasuo than this champ and Sona.
People have been complaining about how poor the cost to content ratio is for new champs for ages. You said it, the prices are obviously directed at whales, not the other 90% of players, I haven't bought anything in over 5 years. People got angry about Spirit Fire Udyr having an insane price for poorly aged visual effects, crappy Chroma packs, Orrn 3 years still 1 skin, new Ez skin every 6 months etc.

It's one of the reasons why I don't get the outrage. The similarity to Sona is indeed obvious in all of her abilities, but I don't think she's "exactly like Sona but better". I guess them having a vaguely similar theme (music) highlights the similarities. Without that you could say they're as similar to each other as Cait and Jinx are, and nobody seems to have a problem with that.
The complaints about the ultimate skin, lore stuff or the KDA skin being the actual character are all valid, but I thought most of the player base doesn't care about that.

In my opinion she kind of looks like a scrapped Sona rework made a unique champion, which I honestly dont think is a bad way to implement it a lot of people like Sona as she is and Seraphine still looks different "enough" for the both of them to exist.
What I'm somewhat concerned about is her passive music, either it's going alright or painfully anoying after you've played her multiple times. Riot's music department has been on point for years so I'm optimistic, but still something I'm concerned about.
Really have no idea what her role is supposed to be? Her kit has so much teamplay she kind of has to be played in a duo lane, but is she meant to be the support or the carry?

To me I definitely see the similarities and would argue it’s much more of an overlap than Yone. I really dislike her aesthetic but I would rather this than Sona being removed from the game. There is one other thing that really bothers me that I hope is just a pbe thing but she moves and idles laying down and casts standing and it looks really awkward when she gets up and lays down 5 times in 5 seconds idk it bothers me.
Also why is she from Piltover and her stage doesn’t have any hextech elements?

I think releasing a new champion is better than a rework.
Good God I wish they released the new champion "Atrius" instead of reworking Pantheon. Or the new champion "Sutra" instead of reworking Kam... Err Karma.
I also think that Riot is getting into the champion numbers where they can and should overlap the way MtG does; after around 150 you're bound to have Champions that fill each other's role and theme a bit. I think it makes a lot of sense to have Champions aimed at Johnny, Timmy, and Spike. It also makes sense to have Champions for each level of play and for teaching certain levels of play (think Warwick vs Nidalee or lightning bolt vs "lucky charm" spells).
And I mean... I think that's a large part of the backlash... A lot of people were hyped for Seraphine but they realized she wasn't for them, she was for them, but for Whales and eGirls. My girlfriend and her friends love Seraphine; they are the kind of players that struggle to win against intermediate bots, but why should they not have Champions designed for them when they are also paying customers? New graves is one of the most fun champions in the game but I would still play old graves too if possible.
I think the only reworked champion I would always play over the old one is Quinn

Yeah, I agree with that. No ADC since has had that same burst caster feel of old Graves; knowing you could one shot the other guy at say 600 health post mitigation.
