TBH if you are a team that played thru mid even in a bot centric meta (looking at you tsm and c9) I don’t know how Moon wasn’t your first choice. | ||

Sure, by getting Sven you deny yourself the possibility of getting Faker as an import. But realistically, it probably just denies you from signing Seraph or some shit. | ||

Depends on what spot you're importing. NA has bad mids so people started importing. Now there's too many good imports so players are switching from mid. Using an import on a position like support, which has a good talent pool, is pretty stupid unless they're exceptional and your roster already has some solid pieces in it. | ||

On C9 they have Sven/Jensen as imports, thus are basically locked into Licorice, Sneaky, & Smoothie. If Licorice sucks, Ray can't sub in. Top talent in NA is pretty rough, so that is a tough place to be. | ||

Na is the smallest player base of any of the major regions and has the worst average ping as well. Scouting is harder, and all the evidence we have is that the scrim culture is not good enough for you to properly evaluate players. So, yea, there isn't the talent, or if there is, its hard to know. If you suddenly became the best toplaner in the world, and live in Miami, it would probably be next years off-season before you got a serious look. | ||
