Ornn has the negative of even in masters/challenger you see folk totally eschew good item builds to upgrade their ornngrade instantly. i've watched good players do stupid things like upgrade their IE and float cash instead of grabbing the QSS they need.
once people adapt to that and to using his Ult at max range his winrate will go up dramatically. because the slow starts i wanna say 300 units further out from the end of the indicator, so you can instantly apply 60% slows on mid lane from scuttle to assist a gank, and then knock the ram into top lane/the jungle to stall/clear/assist an invade.
The full range from edge of slow AOE to a last moment headbutt is about the distance between lanes in the river. so you can get a lot done if you have some planning.
He does kinda blow into really sustainy champs without jungle assists though, so in this meta, maybe its not so great.
Who the hell knows when new runes happen though.

I've never had one plat + player tell me anything other than Ornn's items suck. Believe me I know there are plenty of masters and challenger players that are good because they know what and maybe not why, but those items are so obviously bad.

At the same time dude is literally unkillable. Lol.
I shot at one 1v1 for what felt like a solid 20s as a fed 4 item jungle Ez w/ lord dominiks when he had 2.5 items and raid bosses HP bar basically didn't move.
Guy is a brick wall, and if you use your mobility ever he locks you up from range. Last champ in the game I want on the other team if I'm trying to hard carry a game.

If you time your abilities based on his W cooldown so you arent hitting shield and play the range game to avoid his brittle he really cant do anything to you. You can do that with melee by walking into him or with range by moving parallel or just outranging the flames.
It's funny that he's this really tanky guy but is susceptible to people walking at him. xD

My new level 1 "hobby" is to solo late invade blue buff as support and hit my flair to fuck with the jungler, they smite more often than you would think lol

very very strong pubstomper. Way stronger then old eve. The charm is actually insane, she's good at both ganking and 1v1 even early game. You just gank like a normal jungler before 6 due to the hard CC and then it really gets insane after lvl 6. Still suffers from teams grouping but now at least you offer ranged hard CC.
Her winrate is suffering from randoms playing her right now due to a lot of nuance in her runes/clear and playstyle in general but I don't think the 45-46% winrate reflects her truly.

I feel like her numbers make her real bad. She struggles to do anything at all unless ahead. which is maybe what you want from an assassin, but she also has practically no tools to get ahead. She needs to gank top to get ahead or a melee mid, but she cant 1v1 the enemy jungler if its at all a good player/champ, sej, gragas both handle her. so she cant float top until shes ahead, but ganking bot lane with her seems to be totally useless vs competent players,
When shes ahead she seems pretty unstoppable though. its just, are you going to get ahead?
She needs to max W to get ganks off successfully, but she cant fight anyone alone with W max. It's a weird combination. and her animations dont weave with her autos well, which is something that has been more common with new champs/reworks, as they have been using backswing as balancing tools lately. which makes her feel clunky compared to other champs.
Im for backswing as balance. but it needs to be part of most champs kits, not only on a few.
Though "bad unless ahead" has been something that has been OP in solo queue before. because people fuck up constantly.

Yea she looked pretty shit when I've seen her. Worse than old eve. VA is way higher than me so maybe just a case of people not knowing how to play her making her look super bad though.
Old eve could get ahead a lot easier with the whole "you can't see me and solo q people are dumb" thing.

my friend's an eve main (prob over 3k games peaked d1) and he said he thinks as of now the numbers are too low and is thus inferior to old eve. According to him he recommends atm an offtank ap build. Hes still experimenting but he said rylais/liandries felt good and didn't like playing her full glass cannon, which is weird since he played old eve pretty much glass cannon 90% of the time.

Checks out. Shes a lot clunkier to play now though. and shes much worse at teamfighting despite actually having cc now.

Old Eve would basically get a big shield from ult, blow somebody up, run away before she died, then come back in.
