Obviously I want to visit a PC Bang and it just occurred to me that my NA login information wouldn't work in Korea, does anyone have knowledge of how playing league in a PC Bang works? Would I be able to use some sort of temporary account or make my own? To my knowledge your league account in Korea is tied to your SSN so... | ||

You have few options 1) Play on NA. Pretty much every PC Bang has NA LoL installed. You may have to patch since it's not used as much as KR client obviously, but its there. I got ~150 ping last time and played on NA with my other friends from the states when we went together since they couldn't all get KR accounts. Not sure how chicago server has affected ping. It will probably be slightly lower, If I had to guess 120ish? If you don't mind slightly over 100 ping this may be an option for you (or the only option). 2) Borrow a KR account. If you can get a Korean friend or someone to create/lend an account to you this works too. IMO this is the most practical way. It's not difficult for Koreans to make smurfs, the only issue is that the account is tied to their personal information so they have to trust that you won't get them banned or something. I got my cousin to make me an account and borrowed that for my visits. I also got a smurf from a friend and played on that as well. Of course this is all against the terms of service but tbh its the most practical way. (Borrowing a level 30 is best so you dont have to level it up) 3) Create an account as a foreigner. I'm not the most well-versed in this since I haven't done it myself nor have met people who did this but if its like any other game, you have to get an ARC (Alien Registration Card) and sign up using that instead of a SSN.
