??? what are you even saying

You say you don't improve because you bounce around roles a lot. That's why people tend to stick to fewer roles, it aids in improvement.

Vlad's supposed to be much weaker. I must be doing something wrong then. No big minion wave on either side, we're both level 6, I've got Phage, he has Cowl (that's what he rushed off of boots+4), I've got several passive stacks and my ult's passive ready to trigger and I've waited for his empowered's Q window to shut off. I jump him, he doesn't try to dodge my stun with W (he uses it, but lets me stun him), we're both ulting at the start.
I have to run away because even though he's pretty low he's likely to kill me while we're both at 10% HP or so and if he gets his empowered Q at any point he'll outrun me and burst me for a stupid amount. He rushed fucking Cowl and got jumped at the worst moment for him and still won the fight. What the fuck?
Plus he doesn't push to trade now so even though he's not stupidly oppressive shoving you to tower while getting back to full health, he can freely freeze the wave because he won't break the freeze, or barely so he can slow push you, if a fight breaks out. And later on with just Visage+Lucidity boots, and ~45 AP from runes/masteries/drake, he hit me for almost 400 with his empowered Q.
Then in teamfights every other Q was empowered and healing him from 400 one teamfight to 900 two teamfights later, legit getting back a full quarter of his health.
So what am I supposed to do if I can't outtrade him early (I should try clicking the person I jump to during the jump, because Jax doesn't automatically target it and sometimes if you press W it makes him stand still, so of course if that happens I should stop chasing since I'm out of aa range), and even when going tank against what isn't even my main source of damage he beats me handily?

Players rather win/focus on improve than play League for the novelty of different roles/champs. That said, I actually don't get players that bounce around roles/champs a lot. You're far less proficient than players who FOI, so how is it fun to get stomped. At best, you're basically hoping that who you're laning against is as bad as his champ as you are with your unpracticed one l0l.

I feel like in past seasons it was a lot easier to do. With all the remakes and yoyoing constantly spewing out it feels a lot harder these days.

How and why have a tiny bit of a different meaning, I also know why it is better to play only a few champs if you wanna climb the ladder, but wonder how do people not get bored after 10-20 games on the same champ, or even position

One of the most fun things about LOL for me is every champion having different mechanics and feel, but general laning/jungling rules staying more or less similar, if you know what role you want to fulfill with the champ it doesn't matter if you get outplayed once or twice, a lot of what decides the game is mid-late shotcalling, at least in the scrub ELOs I have experience in (<=Gold).

I mean it's not just the mechanics, it is knowing the power levels of what you're facing. If all the mages get reworked and have their numbers adjusted, suddenly you have no clue when you can beat them given x items and levels and when they'll beat you, which is really problematic when you play a lot of champions. And the fact that so many got changed at the same time, all your collective knowledge suddenly means jack diddly.

If i say i don't improve at this game bc I bounced around roles a lot, how do i not do this? then I get responce of hey, you shouldn't bounce around roles, you won't improve then I think its pretty normal to assume that person is being sarcastic or an idiot. You didn't answer anything you just restated the cause of the problem which was stated in the question lol. Its pretty normal to call this out as a terrible answer.

you stick to one or two roles by never being satisfied with your play and always looking for ways to improve swapping champion and role is like abandoning all your ideas for next game and your general quest and feels shitty
if you don't think much when you play you'll get bored and want to play another champ for novelty
both methods are fun the second requires less energy which is why most people are trash
|
i'm one of those people who get bored really quickly
tons of different champs played in ranked, play pretty much all roles and hate playing the same shit over and over
i know just FOI with a handful of champs/1 or 2 roles is best as i've done it before and reached my desired ranks.
i flip back and forth tho.
its also boring to just suck. so usually i try to reach a happy medium where i do a little bit of both.
but yeah limiting champ pool/role is definitely the most efficient way to reach a higher rank.

how about broadening your ideas you had while playing one champ and trying them with others? please read your last sentence and think why you wrote it, imagine, there can be many ways to think about a game without making it your life's meaning
