45 damage on hit is pretty good tho like its a free BF sword for whole team 7k gold confirmed Compared to 225 damage on hit though it's nothing. Add in now the other team just got 2 additional ocean drakes, an additional fire drake, and an additional mountain drake.... yeah suddenly it is quite literally exponentially better for them than for you. The on hit buff is just a small component of it. You get 45 damage on hit, they get 225 damage on hit +20% regeneration per 10 seconds plus an additional 20% damage to structures, plus a total of 8% more damage? How much gold is that worth? Hint, is a lot more than 4 x 7 = 28k.
no its actually a sum of linear terms since you're doubling the effect of other drakes economy growth in starcraft is exponential to a point for example, this is just linear
surely you can come up with a less spurious vocabulary for this situation?
you appear like 10x smarter that way but not exponentially smarter

Fair enough, my verbage sucked. I don't really care whether you think I'm smart or not, though.
Point still stands though that it really sucks when you down a few drakes. You're basically fighting to not lose, but you have to do it from a position without vision, and without the real reward of rubberbanding back in the game like baron where it is hard to push on you and you get gold.
Also, if they have a mountain drake you can't even just steal it unless they missplay because your smite is worse than theirs.

well rito is torn between snowballing and being too easy to turtle drakes stop the turtling and don't snowball until lategame so its not too bad
like if you're behind and its lategame its a second baron to worry about but at least it stops you sitting in base and stopping baron and nothing else

I wonder if the "Earth Drake Increases Smite Damage" thing is a bug or a feature. Good luck trying to outsmite a Nunu with upwards of 2900 true damage on a Q->Smite combo.
I actually prefer Earth Drake to Fire Drake, but I suppose that Earth Drake could be a sort of "win-more" thing. Fire Drake lets you win teamfights, but Earth Drake lets you win games after winning teamfights.

hey my name is cho and i outsmite nunu
|
yea the disadvantage is you have to have nunu on your team
|
i actually think he pretty strong right now and his 53% winrate reflects that
|
yeah but you still have nunu on your team its not the same as having teemo but its on the list

they changed it a while ago feast does 1000 + 70% ap true dmg vs non champions even at rank1

Still no one plays Cho jungle any more, though, and as mid Cho it'd be sad to not be able to Feast in a teamfight.

Killing a non-champion with it refunds half the cooldown, so you get a 40s base cd. If you're mid you'll have CDR, so it'll be somewhere around 24-30s cd, you can play around that.

I dunno why, now that you mention it.
He farms real fast (I just clocked first clear Gromp>Blue>Wolves>Wraiths>Red>Krugs at 3:38 with machete on first go, bet I could push it even faster with optimized runes and E-micro, but even that is competitive with like Shyvana and Olaf), has a safe first clear, he has good ganks if you can land a skillshot, he provides lots of utility, has good build variety, good in a variety of comps.
He might just not be strong enough, but I don't think we have proof one way or another. His playrate (Seen in 0.07% of all games!) is too low for any data from Riot's API to be anything more than statistical noise.
I don't think he is overly item dependent, but I could be wrong. His winrate Mid / Top across all regions is competitive (pretty much straddling 50% either way), so I don't really see why he wouldn't be good in the jungle. Could be he really does need items? Maybe his stack mechanic hurts him. Could be people just don't find him fun. lol.
Huh. I think ima spam like 20 Cho Jungle games.
|
cho is fat and slow with low range thats why he sucks 3:38 isnt that fast
he can't skirmish for shit thats why he isn't often played in the jungle unless you're ahead and can just one shot
|
You could be right. Never really Skirmished with or against a Cho within recent memory.
I want to try it.
And 3:38 isn't fast, but it sure isn't slow. I also guarantee I can probably shave 15 to 20 seconds off that easily by using Vorpal Spikes more optimally.
|
If you lane Cho it's basically just about lane dominance since it's so hard to actually push him out of lane but come mid/late game he doesn't really offer much.

cho is a burst mage i mean you dont need to be a genius to figure out he isn't good at auto attack wars
