Why would hurricane be good with that build? Does the rageblade passive do damage off every bolt?
Rageblade definitely still god on Kog but he isn't an adc, attack damage carry. He obviously plays a similar role but he isn't a champion I am talking about.
Honestly only taking 6 stacks might be an improvement to Kog but the extra 1k gold is a hindrance

So ragebalde has to fight with maw, ie, and bloodthirster for those last two late game spots and it's probably worse than any of those.
rite they are doing more than the maximum possible should be pretty easy in theory just need 7 items

On a lane champion? Also 2.5 is the AS cap so 3 seconds to stack is more reasonable. Botrk, rageblade, hurricane seems like it would be pretty potent on vayne (in whatever order)
Blood razer hits real hard.
Same damage as BotRK, but it's with Max HP instead of min HP. Costs less, had more attack attack speed.
The active makes BotRK better than BR, as well as its AD / lifesteal.
But in PBE they making it 4% max hp and increasing its AS another 10%.
I almost guarantee you that ADCs will be picking up Bloodrazer next patch. Almost any champ not Kalista that buys hurricane should be buying bloodrazer instead.

they would need to go smite tho

yeah they would have smite as their second summoner..

To be fair the smite effect on Skirmisher's Sabre is a mediocre replacement for Heal/Exhaust (like that awful meta where every top laner ran Smite), so it's not the worst thing in the world to run Smite.

kinda true, but Skirmisher was nerfed a lot because of that meta, still not bad though.

Yes. The rageblade passive on-hit will do damage on the hurricane bolts.(and the hurricane on-hit will be doubled by rageblade). This is what made the old Rage/Cane combo so powerful. Once you hit 8 stacks (you needed 8 attacks to start it!) the hurricane bolts would proc the rageblade AoE which would of course obliterate the enemy in the middle.
But you mainly get hurricane for the wave clear. Same reason you buy hurricane on ADs like cait. The hurricane passive (not including its raw stats) more than doubles your dps against creep waves*. Cane lets you reasonably pick up big waves without being a massive detriment to your team. You can farm and push and still make it to team fights and will generally hit your item break points earlier. The crit isn't as valuable as the AS and on-hit for an on-hit user but the general advantage over the other AS items is farm.
Would be potentially strong on any on-hit focused AD like vayne or maybe Kalista.
*less for vayne but still enough and since she clears waves for shit it's pretty valuable still.

I think new Fiora is way more interesting than old Fiora for sure, but sometimes I do kinda miss blade waltz being in the game, it was a cool ability, oh and it proc'd on hit so maybe rage blade woulda been a thing(ult to stack, come out of invuln and clean up with max stacks), idk maybe not worth thinking about.

So what's the new build order for Kindred now that Devourer enchant doesn't exist? Warrior > BotRK > normal items?
|
Looks like the build didn't change, outside of the Bloodrazor switch. Razor > Cain > Situational.

To expand on the prior post. I just played with a vayne who went Botrk->Rage->PD and she absolutely crushed in damage (I was Censor Karma)

Why the hell does Riot punish dodges?
I just don't get that. If your team is already flaming each other and wanting to play troll picks, why the hell should you have to sit through the game? That is half an hour of your time.
Straight up, I shouldn't have to play games where my team picked no engage, no poke, no CC, and no teamfight capability, and no seige... Chances of actually winning that game are like 10% Why should I have to bother playing games where the only win condition is the entire enemy team is a bunch of boosted animals?
|
Because phages dodge every time someone picks a champ that isn't meta or any time someone doesn't get the exact role they want
there's already like so many fucking dodges and my queue times are long already.
"troll picks" for some people could be someones main, it's stupid.
if your team picked retarded shit they probably do that all the time and win even when it doesn't suit the comp so it probably doesn't matter
you're not entitled to anything but players around your MMR trying to win the game. Expecting everyone to pick what YOU think is a good comp and what YOU think are good picks is ridiculous. + Show Spoiler + and trying to win the game doesn't win they are taking amphetamines playing their best champ and checking the minimap every 200 mili seconds. It just means not intentionally feeding or just afk splitting for no reason
it doesn't mean that they do absolutely everything to avoid ganks and not get snowballed on because they removes your ability to snowball yourself
I've often run around with 70% winrate udyr but the one game you don't do well they bitch about troll picks. Same thing with ghostblade irelia you one shot people and 1v2 their jungler 3 games out of 4 but the 1 game you lose lane and get dived a lot you have a troll build.
yeah people flame but guess what? Unless they are just for some strange reason especially mad that day, if they flame all the time their MMR is such that they have to be much better than their opponents to win with a team that is afking/tilting from the flame.
Have a video on youtube from a while back where my jinx a flamed our mid lulu and stole blue until she went afk at 20, and we won easily because jinx was just outplaying the enemy.
I actually much prefer to play with toxic people than with whiners who just call ff 20 we can't win. + Show Spoiler [reference game] + edit: seems lulu came back from afk to avoid ban and bought zeals and intentionally fed by walking down mid they surrendered after we won a 3v5 shortly after they got baron lol
I've won so many games where people were calling ff 20 and open mid it's so stupid. It's usually just one player doing badly too. The only time we don't have a chance to win if the guy calling ff 20 actually afks.

Now hold on...
there is a difference between an off-meta pick and a troll pick. To me a troll pick is like Udyr & Singed bot lane into Cait / Janna. If they aren't retarded, Udyr will never farm a single creep.
I have no problem if someone wants to pull out like Heimer, Zilean, Evelynn, Tryndamere, Aatrox whatever. I actually play Udyr top all the time.
I don't think Ishould get a perfect teamcomp every game. That being said, if their teamcomp is Braum + Ez + Nid + Trundle + Jhin and you pick a team that is both outranged, has no CC, and can't engage... you know exactly how the game is going to go. Only way you win is if you literally shitstop all 3 lanes. You have no other win condition.
I want a team comp that has a chance of winning the game.
|
I dispute the never farming a single creep thing but whatever, something like that I never see anyway worst I'll see is maybe like a dude not wanting to support and picking some weird hero or blitz who isn't even bad mostly eliminated that problem thx to based dynamic q
As for the team comp thing you'd be surprised with the shit you can do with godawful comps. Flanks, abusing bad positioning by the other teams TP HG's, split pushing etc
sure you'll get drafted into some comps that are worse than the enemy but it works both ways if everyone is dodging no both sides basically it just forces everyone to pick some generic boring comp based on whatever the tryhards want you to play and it's a stupid amount of power
You have the option of dodging if you feel you can never carry that game but you shouldn't be rewarded for tryharding like that and wasting everyones time. (oh but they're wasting my time if i cant win boo hoo) Like you think it's a guaranteed loss you dodge, take the point loss and spend the dodge timer doing something else, it's a solution. You save your time and you get the same point loss which makes it fair because matchmaking is random you get good situations and bad ones, if you're allowed to dodge the bad ones it's just abusing the system.
If you really want to have full control over comps and picks you should try to find a 5's team or just keep adding players to dyn q with. From my experience 5's is just as salty with worse players than solo q insisting you play champions they think are good instead of what you're good at but seems like you'd prefer that.
|
I don't want full control of comps or picks. I like seeing off-meta picks most of the time. Perhaps skeptical at times, but I'd rather we saw the full champ pool played than the 8 you see picked in competitive.
You make it sound like I am ridiculous for wanting a team with a win condition. My most played champions since S1 are Udyr, Shyvana, and Pantheon. All three of these champions have been competitively garbage for 80% of this time frame. Shy and Panth had a few patches in the sun here and there, but mostly all three have been outshined by someone else who does the job better.
I think a comp that doesn't just roll over isn't too much to ask for.
|
don't know what you expect then, you pick champs that don't have real engage/cc in the positions that traditionally have engage/CC and then complain you don't have engage/CC wat
those champions are good at snowballing games and are good at carrying when fed and are good at split pushing they aren't good in 5v5 teamfights when at equal gold to the enemy counterpart
also the assumption that your comp can't win is probably wildly overstated even considering that
most players have only a few good champs so don't be surprised if they suddenly can't play an engaging mid lane or support or whatever
comps in solo q are basically random and people don't pick for comps that often that applies for both teams it's just apparently you play champs that automatically make your comp shitty at teamfighting and then complain about it
|
I don't mind if the comp is bad at teamfighting if it is good at other things. I don't like when the comp is bad at everything.
It doesn't happen very often, just it does occasionally.
I just think its dumb I have to get locked out 5 minutes for not wanting to play those 1 in 20 type games where you just know based off of champion interactions you are screwed.
