Normal mode is to have fun, ranked is for tryhard mode. I'm not disagreeing with the idea that "normal should be fun", but I feel like people who say that don't actually play normals because that's just not how normal games go. I play a ton of normals (I have some kind of weird curse which makes a good portion of my ranked games 4v5s, so if I want to play 5v5, I play in normals) and people will try to win just as hard as they would in ranked. Therefore when you "troll" or "dick around", even if it's slight trolling, you're going to annoy pretty much everyone and you're going to get reported by people who are mad. As for the reason why people try hard in a mode that is not supposed to be competitive, I'm not sure. Maybe the majority considers that normal games are made to practice for ranked. Maybe people just want to win. At the end of the day there is no difference between ranked mode and normal mode aside from shiny borders/indicators. | ||
