Nice joke mate.
There is no gamemode where you "must" tryhard or w/e. It is entirely up to you.

I guess what it comes down to is whether you wanna try stuff against relatively competent adversaries to see how it might fare in a realistic environment or stomp quadruple amputee comatoses and learn about as much about the potential viability as you would if you had just spent the time watching one of those retarded bronze-to-diamond streams.
Which incidentally is why I try new stuff in ranked.

kindred ultimate has to be most unfun and retarded ability riot designed in a while, it basically nullifies any skill and makes teamfight into who can last hit people faster after it ends, I predict her to be perma ban/ pick status until riot inevitably nerfs her to the point shes not worth playing similar to old eve

But they need to grow up, it's ridiculous enough to lose your shit on ranked let alone a normal. There is literally no other place to try out things and the MMR's seem to be all over the map so those games for me are really snowbally win or lose.
saying you have a "curse" and ranked are all 4v5 so you have to try hard in normals and every one else should is one of the silliest posts I have ever read. I'm hoping there was some sarcasm or jest in there that I just missed. If not.... then because you have made up some curse in your head, doesn't mean that everyone else should use the mode how you want instead of how it was intended. The whole point of it is to be a more structured fun game.
Tryhardyness scale.
Amram < 5v5 blind pick < 5v5 draft normal < 5v5 ranked. I didn't say I was tryharding in normals. In fact I don't. I just play them for the pleasure of having 10 people in the game. Which means I play them for the pleasure - essentially, for fun.
All I am saying is that deciding, for your own, that normals are the "dick around" games might be a bit selfish considering that the other 9 people are probably there to play "normal" league of legends - playing to win.
I'm not one of these people who would lose their shit on you and report you. I'll just think for myself "what a retard LOL" or "what a retard..." (because unless the guy specifies it in chat you can't know if his build/moves are serious or not) and move on.
|
even when people do specify that they are goofing around in chat it usually means "I'm bad but this is my excuse" paraphrased of course.

People always try hard in normals. I got reported for playing Guinsos Maokai....

That's funny because if I was try harding I would report anyone that didn't build Rageblade. LOL.

It was hilarious because there was a 3 man I think and they flamed me for "ksing" our AD when I TP ganked, which I didn't know was a thing. I thought it was a fairly good build for Maokai, all things considered. Of course, Maokai isn't that great right now.

5.22 is the first patch in a while where Maokai's jungle winrate is way better than his top.
Tanks are underrated right now.
|
The main reason tanks are good is because everyone is going only ad teams though.
Also brand with the new ap mastery pretty fucking stupid as a tank when everyone but him is full ad.

I'm glad they're testing out these changes in NA, the most competitive region.

everyone jumps on irelia, tryn, yasuo etc against which malphite or mundo thrive and outscale them horribly

Illori certainly seems like a fighter champ. Would build quite similar to Darius with her.
