I'd rather have a game that doesn't run the risk of either side having lame ass children-flamers spamming all chat (or team chat) and then eventually feeding or afk'ing. Ultimately, I want good games. If that means making sure people can't say insulting shit I can deal with that to play a good game of LoL. There are a million avenues to talk shit and only 1 to play LoL; I can deal with not insulting somebody to play a game I enjoy. If you think removing toxic players/chat from the game isn't a good idea than perhaps you need a new hobby since a good game of LoL should be what we all seek. | ||

I can see three concerns regarding the future of the way Riot plans to evolve their punishment system: 1. Where will they draw the line for the automated bans? The system they are testing now seems rather safe, but if you want to catch the rest of the verbal abusers, you will need personal overview of the cases. 2. It obviously can't get out of hand by banning half of the LoL playerbase. Rage outbursts will happen, and no one should be cut down for losing his shit once in a while. I have faith in Riot that they realize this and don't lose control over it. 3. Some (or many) players will try to force their way on others, especially on their teammates by essentially blackmailing them to do what's right, or they will be reported. If you don't come to mid to push with us? Reported. Didn't give me blue? Reported. Etc. It will happen, but let's be real, it's been this way for a long time now. Some people always reached to the threat of report in their desperation, even for the most ridiculous things, like making an unsuccessful gank. This can not be stopped, but constantly reminding people, that this swift justice is to get the most toxic shits of the community, and not to force players to obey to their most vocal teammate is something that can ease this. Even if just one person out of the remaining 4 (or 9) is aware of what is reportable (for example, asking for/htreatening with a report is actually reportable) and what is not, it already helps a great deal. I'm looking forward to this on EUNE, because I desperately need something to hold me back from calling out the biggest noobs who are almost always from the same country, spouting the same gibberish. I'd be much calmer if I'd knew I really can't call them out, haha! | ||

I mean it can get messy if they break through a fence and spread out across a road before you get to the scene (although this is still easy enough to deal with, usually) but just leading them across a road is generally not hard, especially if you have the infrastructure in place to support such a move (typically farms will if it's a move they do often). | ||

My favourite champ (sej) is basically permaban since cinderhulk, I'm bored of shyv jungle, I am no good at quinn top or karma mid (which i find decently fun but get bitched at for playing), and I am out of practice with bot. Can't wait for this meta to piss off so I can play Sej again. | ||
