her damage has been pretty bad since the rework, if your ad doesn't tag the Aura AND auto a champion you lose the trade to pretty much any ranged support, thats why people max her heal now, but if I wanted to heal people I'd just play Raka or Nami if I want heals + team fight.
in a game with 120 champions or w/e ~7th best support is irrelevant tier

The Veigar nerfs literally make no sense when he was just a niche support that just came into the limelight

I think they were planning to sort of rework him for a while and get him in a place they liked more gameplay wise. He was in that hard to balance place where you either 100 0 someone or you don't. and his E was kinda stupid since if you had experience on him it was an instant stun on 1 plus possibly more plus forcing out flashes and our cutting off terrain. I'm sure if he drops too much power wise they'll buff him

Maybe i shouldnt write long, rambling posts at the tail end of allnighters. Oh well, apologies. Are you purge, the dota streamer?
Nope, no relation. Same username is all.

Maybe i shouldnt write long, rambling posts at the tail end of allnighters. Oh well, apologies. your logic doesnt really apply at all because there have been plenty of periods where people ran tanks from the jungle and nothing about your analysis has changed the fact is the tank junglers farm really slow and dont gank better any more than a lot of the bruiser junglers, its not that you cant farm from the jungle its just that you need a lot of damage to farm quickly from the jungle if any of the tanks had super good clear you'd see them a lot. a lot of them have solid ganks. sure having an underfarmed tank is bad but having an underfarmed most things is bad, unless that champion is specifically good without items. an underfarmed tank is still better than an underfarmed bruiser anyway
This is the current situation, not describing Season 2 or Early Season 3 or whatnot. Why would it describe them? Those where completely different metagames with different relative champion strengths and different optimization on jungler gold. NE hold the outside information constant, and you are changing it by looking across patches to some extent but moreso across seasons. Which is why I think I am right and the NE holds. But again im being boring so Ill move on.
Anyone tried out mid Ezreal in yoloq? I think i might pick him up if i dont have to be Faker to make it work, hes fun and Faker just switches it on and carries midgame. That series yesterday inspired me (The Trueshot Barrages were amazing).
Also Zilean's stun combo seems so sluggish because of fixed cast times. Anyone figured out how to best get it out consistently? Because I have people juking the second bomb constantly if toss it on someone and I cant rely on my team to carry in the first.
That and Veigar is a hot mess of a champion right now. Rito pls lower that delay, goddamn.

And I can confirm that the new Veigar is totally worthless as a champion now. I had a game just now where he went to CC a Rengar that didn't know the Veigar was in the area with the stun field, and in the .75s he had to react to it he simply walked out of it (or flashed, I couldn't tell as I was dead and the greyscreen is pretty hard to distinguish the particle effect of flash).

Nexus is the only thing it doesn't work on.

Flash for a kill is pretty worth for the Rengar.
Basically as anyone who played more than 3 games of Veigar could've told you the E delay will make him (even more) useless, and lo and behold, he is now useless. Zz.

I was pretty certain of it, and this just confirms my suspicions.
And in the example I gave about the Rengar, after he flashed he then went away for 5s, ulted and dove the Veigar under turret for a free kill and got away with about 200 hp missing from tanking turret shots.

So after playing a game with a Zilean on our team, initial impression is that his speed boost is pretty crazy.
There are many things you can accomplish with 684 movement speed.

I don't get why riot doesn't just cut the facade and make event horizon into Kinetic Field. make it so dashes can't go over it, but teleports (flash, rift walk, arcane shift) can. They clearly want people to get trapped inside it rather than used to stun people. just go all the way.

Duration changed to 2.5 seconds from 2.5/3.25/4/4.75/5.5 seconds. Slow amount changed to 40%/55%/70%/85%/99% from 55%. Then the speed boost hasn't been changed from 55%, and the duration cut in more than half. Not sure if I like that (and apart from surprise initiation, 5.5s of a 55% boost that'll pass the hard cap by a bit is way better than 2.5s of 99% that will go right into it; even without the caps it'd be better in terms of overall ground gained, which marksmen and champs like Jax or Olaf like more).

Is it just me or has the creep blocking gotten worse. I swear I get blocked by minions so easy now its stupid.

Can confirm after just playing a co-op game as new Zil that it does scale up to a 99% slow and haste. Patch notes aren't descriptive enough.
Also, the new time bombs are actually super fun. I might actually like this 'rework' or change.
