Really wonder if Vardags can keep his job. Pretty sure UoL isn't going to change friendship and magic if friendship and magic got them within a game of the spring split. Also, what is with LL's unconditional hate for Vardags? I get it, he's a bottom-tier pro ADC, but some of you guys just irrationally shit on him no matter what.
Because he's awful, lol. After only adc who played in NA finals outside of Sneaky and WildTurtle got relegated, Vardags is literally better than Adryh and that's it.
I don't think that you can call it unconditional hate when some of people here try to cheer for EU but are forced to watch Steeelback and Vardags being #1 and #2.

Watching him play, he seems to be a lackluster adc in comparison to what is around him. Many of the EU teams actually have pretty good ADC this season, even MYM had Rallez. You saw the list of free agents for the position, I can see Forgiven, MrRallez replacing him because they are much better, even Steelback and Pinoy would be an upgrade imo. He gets caught out and his laning isn't that good, he's just not a carry, a worse version of Steelback if you will.
I think he's LCS caliber, but he's bottom LCS level. And unfortunately there's a lot of players currently free who could take his spot.

UoL were the 4th best team in Spring, doesn't matter if they finished second. They should replace their ADC so they're actually a good team.

When you're like the 8-10th best player in your region on a team that's top 2 in your region, it's gunna be pretty obvious who's gunna get shitted on by the community and fans of that team.

I really don't want to create new threads when moves ain't confirmed by official sources.
But Altec is almost in MSI TDK. Source
The suffering of Altec and Koreans continue. But I assume that Pobelter is going to follow him soon.

Prog shit on him with Taric. Prog is D5. So is Vardags. Meanwhile Freeze is in Youngbuck prison, Forgiven is in nRated prison and Tabzz couldn't find a team for Spring split.

Fnatic with Rekkles is the best Western team in terms of talent, right?

I'm trying to disagree but can't. I'd like to believe Elements could be better but pls don't quote me until end of the season :>

Well there's a difference between individual skill and team strength, right? Like last year C9 were a better team than TSM but TSM were more talented individually.
I just mean is Fnatic the most individually skilled team in the West?
|
TSM weren't more talented, they just brought in better players to get better than C9 lol.

Not really, TSM were both more talented and a better team. If you go back and watch those games TSM won most of them through a strong P/B and very good macro play. Game 3 was the only game where C9's really showed their ability to play from behind that they're known for, but TSM outplayed them in the laneswap so it didn't matter. Also TSM is still the most talented team in the west, Lubo is massively better than Yellow and Santorin is significantly better+higher ceiling than Reignover. Bjerg is better than Febi atm too, though their ceilings are both pretty gigantic. Sure, Huni's got a higher ceiling than Dyrus, but I'm not even sure he's that much better atm, as he has pretty glaring hero pool weaknesses. Rekkles doesn't outclass Turtle in any meaningful way. They're both Tier 2 evolutions of Puszu, yet to hit level 60 and evolve into Deft.
|
Well it sounded like "talent" was something measurable or quantifiable, personally I can only compare in terms of achievements, so the question would probably be if Rekkles was in fnc now would it increase the chance of fnc beating tsm in a bo5? Probably not by a lot.
e: seems like former Roccat Ducky is now Origen's coach http://origen.gg/2015/04/introducing-origens-coach/
