I mean you could say Garen is bad. Or you could replace his Q speed-up with a non-targeted dash and see how much better he fares. Thing is for things such as the knock-x spam, Riot themselves said "it feels more visceral and you understand that you're cc'd better than with just a stun icon", so obviously even if it fucks with all kind of move blocks and isn't affected by tenacity and generally makes it much harder to close in on people it's the right thing to do to keep introducing them over stuns, or if you want non-tenacity affected cc suppressions (suppressions are actually weaker because QSS works on them). That Azir montage taught me that the hitbox for his E knocking-up is a circle around him and that as such standing behind the soldier won't necessarily protect you from his dash. That first play with Talon clipped twice by the ult so he was cc'd twice as long was painful though. x_x And I still don't get why his ult needs to deal damage considering the massive utility it brings (and the burst from Q-right-click), what with the extremely high dps he has past a point for a mage.

Isn't he also one of the only energy champions without a real dash?`It hurts him so much, imagine if E could be used to "dash" to a target giving the passive or something alike.

That's the fuckton of mobility of knock-ups/backs introduced in the game ever since that fucks anyone reliant on non-dashes and proximity to deal damage. I mean you could say Garen is bad. Kennen just has layers of sadness around a core of i used to be something wrapped in terrible art assets.

Non-mana ranged top lane that works as both damage and team disrupt..

Link is miss more often than hit and top lane is a turnstile. Outside of Dexter they haven't had a decent jungler since Saint.
