Reverse causation or endogeneity (you're not going to suggest that good at 10 minutes is exogenous are you?) with is not "correlation vs causation" but no I just don't understand the point of a graph that says the sky is blue.

I mean I think seeing the relative win % is actually kind of neat. Obviously the more you area ahead the more likely you are to win, but this puts some actual numbers on that.

Let me tell you a story. Back in high school, I had to do chemistry lab reports. I like chemistry, but I hated labs because I would usually do something wrong (i.e. not following the instruction carefully enough) so I can never get more than 50% of the theoretical yield while most of my colleagues could get around 80%+. So, when I write my lab report, I will always say that one source of my error is impurity with the chemicals I am working with. Technically, it's not wrong - pretty much nothing is 100% pure. I can apply this criticism to any experiment I perform.

But it doesn't really tell us an effect of gold just a statement that if you're winning by x you're likely to have that win %.

The complaint most common in economics is a poor instrumental variable. My complaint is, generally with what you've been proposing, that you didn't bother to find one and didn't even realize that you might need one, because you didn't understand the structure of the system.

So, instead of throwing buzz words at people, just make some simple suggestion at chalice on how to find these more intricate structures of the system using your expertise in economics. Because that's very constructive and a LOT more impressive. In fact it would be very interesting and would actually show how much you know about econometric principles.

I think Goumindong obviously has some expertise on econometrics that the rest of us here lack. I think it would be nice to see how an economist would conduct a study on "how important is gold lead at 10 minutes". I think there is a lot to be learned here.

Although, I like the new Void Portal item in theory. It got a buff on the PBE that gives bonus AD and AP based on your armour and magic resist when you are near the portal. In addition, if it goes though as is on PBE, it will be only the 2nd item currently in the game that gives both Armour and Magic Resist. Neat.

Now you reminded me that I am still bitter over the removal of Sword of the Divine.
