[Patch 4.9] RIP Kha'Zix General Discussion - Page 62
Forum Index > LoL General |
Alright, we're going to call it a day with all the Thorin drama, guys. I figured if it was about SI, onGamers, TSM, etc, it had some relevance to League but somehow you guys managed to devolve the discussion into an issue about race of all things. Enough is enough. Let's move along now. -NeoIllusions

I don't know who's in charge of player recruitment but Amazing and Gleeb were both terrible calls to my eyes. Not once this split have I watched TSM lose and went "if only Gleeb played better they'd have a shot". I mean he's no Xspecial, but he's decent enough. Doesn't make big plays, haven't seen him made huge fuck ups either. Most losses were due to Amazing misplays (some crucial missed Q's and WTFlashes in his Lee games, not to mention his lackluster other champion pool, Dyrus going full derp (seriously, what was that LMQ game?), Bjergsen suddenly not making the difference and only ever going even, but most of all due to colossal failures of calls, rotations and map movement. I think a good coach is just what they need and they still have the potential to be top of NA. Amazing has played much better on CW than the last few weeks on TSM so he's likely just slumping, Dyrus has shown he can be consistantly decent in the past, Bjergsen needs to refind his carry pants and Wildturtle needs to play up to his usual level unlike some games this split. tl:dr: TSM players have been slumping almost universally but still mainly lost due to bad strategy/rotations/calls.

I also agree with kongoline the real reason Kass finally hit critical mass of banned until reworked was lvls 1-5 meaning jack shit in this version of the game.

Before the R buff that allowed Leblanc's W max tech it was a lot easier to shove her in and deny and she made basically 0 impact competitively Also back then Mid lane was not yet just another Jungle camp

The only ones left are alistar, Annie, fiddlesticks, ryze, soraka, lulu, taric, Warwick, twisted fate, sion, Kayle, and nunu. Ok that seems like a lot but Ali requires a combo, Annie requires a charge (and tends to prefer the non-point/click spells), ryze has a really low duration, roka/lulu/fiddlesticks/taric don't do damage, Warwick is his ult, sion is terrible, and nunu is only a slow. That leaves tf and Kayle as the only ones who can effectively follow up their own point and click cc at all points in the game, with ryze as the third post level 13. Given that none of these champions has tea fight mobility I can see why they think it's out of line.

The idea was to make it so Leblanc had to be more risky if she wanted to do her full damage output since it would require her to use her escape/mobility move and also puts her in melee range. The problem is that combined with her Q silence, there's no way for the enemy to retaliate plus the W mechanic means that Leblanc realistically will only be close to the enemy for a fraction of a second. Leblanc getting more waveclear as a result is jsut the cherry on top that makes her even stronger than intended. It was a good change in theory, but the balance team didn't really think it through.
