Because his team carried him almost every single game. Westrice honestly played laning out decently, but the moment he had to make decisions he made all the wrong ones.

Got to play Mundo against Renekton. 't'was awkward and he definitely didn't play his best (plus the only time I got "ganked", Shaco killed TF during his ult so I saw a corpse appear at my feet while sub-100 HP x') ), and sure it's super passive, but I enjoy Mundo's teamfighting and I'm happy whenever I get to give a Renekton the finger, so I'll keep doing that. People are banning Jax and Irelia hasn't been good since s2 and I can't blindly risk a double AP comp by picking Lissandra.

Westrice is in LCS because somewhere in Game 1 of Coast vs Complexity, Shiphtur managed to talk some sense into ZionSpartan.

Yeah, I think this pretty much sums it up.

EDIT: Also, Westrice in the LCS is going to be hilarious. He was a complete liability in the LSC just now against Yazuki, Kez, and C9T. I can't even imagine what it'll be like against Balls/Meteos, Zion/Crumbz, Seraph/Dexter, Dyrus/Amazing. Any toplaner that plays CoL is going to put themselves in the running for MVP that week just off of that game.

I really wish Riot would hire a good analyst for the NA and EU LCS not even for the EU and NA lcs themselves but so that someone out there can have the platform to tell Monte to stfu from time to time, I really like Montecritso but he's gone unchecked for so long by being the only actual analyst with a platform that everything half the things he says come off as arrogant even if accurate.

? If he's right most of the time, why so mad?. It's not like Monte gets that much exposure in the LCS. Only if you follow him on twitter, or you watch Thorin's show with Monte, do you get a ton of Monte exposure in regards to LCS stuff.

In other words who else would you hire? I only know couple of people who do league analysis and out of them only Jatt is as enjoyable to listen to as Monte, and he's too good at casting to leave him in LA.

westrice has bad awareness but he made probably the single most mechanically skilled play that I've ever witnessed in a game. I don't think there's footage but he 1v3ed as ezreal by hitting at least 4-5 blind Qs, a blind ult, and a blind E. Too bad it was before the whole reddit front page pimpest play thing.

I would love to see Westrice prove me wrong, but he just doesn't look like he'll be able to compete with LCS caliber toplaners.

That doesn't mean I'm not happy for him for attaining his dream, I think it's cool he's made it after all his hard work.

If jatt/deficio/kobe wanted to they could probably challenge his statements but they all come across as too passive of a personality to try to contest anything. Locodoco on that thorin show tonight might be fun to see.

Name a better support on Gleeb that TSM could have realistically gotten. (other than keeping Xpecial).
It's pretty hard to find many that are an obviously better over gleeb.
