It was the culminating point in terms of game knowledge, but I'll stand by my opinion that week-ends are worse in general and Elo ranges are skewed between people playing mainly week-ends and people playing mainly on week days. | ||

Though how the meta changed also plays a factor because lomo queue sucks at sieges so it's virtually impossible to make a progress on the ziggs and lulus of S4 compared to the zeds and fizzes of S3. | ||

Breaking the high ground is still stupidly hard to do against most meta comps unless you snowballed super hard. Loss of vision also makes it so if you're confined in your base making plays is absurdly hard—in soloQ you wouldn't necessarily expect your jungle to be full of wards the way they did it in pro play to "choke" the defending team, but I'm fine with the game being balanced at pro level though. It's meh in lane, good against some picks (would be against Yi if his ult didn't say "lol no AS debuffs either"). Speaking of Yi, he killed me with autoattacks during Counterstrike (Jax). I'm not sure if it's intended, but either Wuju style's active on-hit or Flare's on-hit magic damage goes through dodge. Tbh I'm getting pissed at all the shit that should get dodged but doesn't, counterstrike feels more and more like a delayed PB-AoE stun and nothing else outside of edge cases (abusing minion aggro in early laning). Even the "reduces incoming AoE damage" part feels negligible whenever I fight a champion relying on said AoE. It's really frustrating. | ||

I'd never get Bork first, early game it seems Ghostblade will help you shit on everyone far faster than Bork will tbh. I could see getting them both but you shouldn't need to be grabbing that super early imo. | ||

In many ways they made games longer/less snowbally without fixing the problem that people actually had with snowballing. Most lategame champions still aren't "meta" (lategame is kind of a misnomer, more like, champions with a weak laning phase). People were also upset about 1-2 early-midgame picks creating a massive snowball that negated the rest of the game. That was just shifted to 1-2 mid-lategame picks negating much of the earlygame (unless its already snowballed far enough). As for the viewing EXP, we still get much of the same things that annoy people like laneswaps and stale toplane picks, so who knows if its better. | ||

Botrk synergizes with feral flame so well giving you more attack speed to proc the flame heal/magic damage and extra lifesteal already in the item, as well as giving you a slow that Yi desperately needs to stick on targets because of his lack of CC. It also allows you to solo baron with just Feral, Botrk, Berserker Greaves, and Spirit Stone. | ||
