Monte was complaining about it during OGN and Dexter was qq'ing about it on Twitter. I don't like level one snowballs deciding games, but then again other people have complaining about no level one action. I guess both sides can't be pleased. I rather see minimal level 1 shenanigans than a ton of it. The lesser of two evils would to have it back the way it was.

Level 1 fights are cool but they're cool because they don't happen very often. You're gonna be real hard pressed to find any supports who want to go back to starting wards and being bitches rather than dorans and being men, though.

You start with this nublet: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/20513895 (plat I) Then for each iteration, you check a player who played against the previous player in the last 10 games. 40k iterations later, you end up with this player: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/22062752 (silver II)

Even though on average it takes 600+ games to get a penta, the reality is that if you play a "good" champion, you will get it really fast. I recall meeting someone who claimed to have never gotten a penta before. He had at least 2500 normal games and 200+ ranked games at the time.

Oh man I didn't notice he actually got a penta in the last 10 games, lol. I think next time I'll start the algorithm at someone else - say Azingy or someone in challenger and plays a lot.... then see how long it takes to drop to silver.

With the Shield nerf we aren't seeing it nearly as much. I think an alright option would be to start Gold item, ward, pots and use the ward defensively around your buff. I think I'm gonna do that in solo q now, not sure if pro supports grab the extra starting gold though.

I'm fairly certain the first jump was down to a Silver or Gold player.
