say you're playing katarina mid. a season 3 styled 21/9 offense/defense split might include veteran scars and juggernaut, while a more optimal mastery setup would drop the extra hp in favor of movespeed and trinket range in general, the masteries in the top row are more valuable than those in the second or third rows unless you have a specific application in mind | ||

I play all adcs with like 21/6(7)/3(2) because the 3% max hp is ok but I value the mana regen early a lot more. F is for flash pls. | ||

Not sure about 25/3/2, but I used to use 25/2/3 with extra 4 points in CDR, 2 in Block, 3 in Mregen on Ezreal. Basically you get 5% CDR + mana regen for flat HP and 1 damage block which is a pretty good trade for Ez. | ||
