It's all about timing + team comp. If you're planning on running in top lane, you better hope your midlaner is running strong AP damage. If you force the tank top laner to run sunfire + randuins to deal with your 2 item timing, then your midlaner is going to tear through them like nothing. Also his 1 item timing is pretty strong too, Shiv deals a lot of magic damage, and is sort of hard to itemize against when they're usually rushing to finish sunfire. | ||

TBH i like where items are in general as opposed to S2/3, definitely an improvement in my eyes. The trinkets make for pretty interesting situations. Champion balance is a bit ridiculous though, Jinx, mundo and shyvana running riot. (Pun intended?) Not to mention the others like ziggs / gragas etc. I mean, Jinx is so batshit i could engage and trade evenly with leona/jinx vs thresh/vayne while she was 0/4 and vayne was 4/3. Dat jinx was bad but fuck me is that champ batshit. (Or my leona was godly? D  | ||
