in my experience I don't think so, I don't ever play blind pick unless I'm playing with someone who specifically requests it and the games are generally hilariously easy.

Yes Ez i super safe aswell but his late game carry isnt as good. Esp with all the tanky bruisers running around nowadays.
Could be that im just not good enough with him tho :p but I always feel like my lategame dmg is pitiful when i play him.

Going by lolparse, Ezreal on my laptop and desktop has like 100 games played combined, so he is one of my more played carrries, I just cant play him since he's so weak currently compared to Lucian/jinx/trist/varus, and supports aren't nearly as squishy anymore, so I cant just poke them 3-4 times with q and then go all in and kill them like I could before.

Well it is his job to play ADC, I'd say of the pro streams I've observed he's one of the highest for playing off his role. I've seen him mid quite a few times.

Yeah, qtpie is one of the few pro streamers I've seen that usually tries to fill whatever role the rest of his team doesn't want to play. He ends up playing mid and jungle quite a bit. That Grilled/Reflections interview is probably my favorite one yet. The Bischu one was pretty good too.

I worded that badly. I meant getting a bt first vs a tf first. There is the BT -> PD path and the TF -> LW path. Was wondering about choosing between those two.

Depends imo. If top lane is just splitpushing all day and not joining teamfight. Which is pretty likely in meta. Bt/tf is fine. Also dat culling damage. But now that you mention it. If you team fights are including top laners tf/lw is better. (Assuming they went sunfire)
