By "was used" you mean it was Wh1t3zz' signature hero and basically no one else played it?

3-4 secured spots in challenger. His MMR on most of them is too high to be kicked out.

Yeah, and the rest of the challengers are people he duo carry to challengers.

Rekkles does a lot of commentary too, especially in the laning phrase.

aw come on, you can't say stuff like that without providing juicy drama inducing details :>

also lol @ anyone who thinks kassadin isn't anything but too strong (and that is putting it mildly)

Riot keeps shifting around Kassadin's power so he always remains as a good pick in almost every situation, when what they really need to do is just take away some power. His ratios are stupid good, his E cooldown is hilarious, his W is actually pretty fucking good too... and they make it so his ult can now give back mana and take away a bit of Q base damage (now kass players just max E and have ridiculous waveclear for a melee assassin/carry.

he simply has too much and that's why he never really goes away despite always being "nerfed'

Funniest thing was when I was running from an Ahri(full hp), and when I was at like 20% hp the Ahri missed a charm... And I went like "oh" and just killed her with a billion aspd and bonus dmg from W during the silence.

I think it's pretty stupid how Kassadin deals more melee dmg than most melee DPS when he's a mobile caster assassin. He has better auto dmg than AD casters, taking away that advantage of those while retaining the advantage of being a magic-based assassin(which of course is dealing magic damage).

They should just remove the bonus mana Kassadin gets from W completely. It's very strong even with just the bonus dmg, and that would force him to do something other than just spam Q on cooldown all day in lane and be all right. Would weaken his laning a lot, which in turn would weaken his later game as well. Another option would be nerfing his lategame without touching his early game with just numbers, but his kit is innately so retarded that either he's always OP until he becomes useless(too weak to pick off any targets anymore).

In my opinion, the best course of action would be to remove or at least halve the mana regen of Kassadin's W, lower the AP ratio on W(so he can still lasthit with it well), and increase the cooldown of E by 1 second(it's always up in teamfights which is one of the main reasons he's so insane in teamfights).

Since when is Singed so unpopular? According to Lolking, even Gangplank and Fiora are more played right now. His win percentage has also dropped quite a lot since the tear nerf it seems.

Eh, there are more problematic Champs at the moment than Kass. I'd say he's in a good spot competitively and I don't think he's that bad in Solo queue. Sure it's annoying when you're 3 levels up on him in lane and he finally gets six and roams bot for a double. But most assassins can do that anyway.

He's a bit like Vayne really. Some games they annoy the hell out of you, but other games your team clicks and they are butter.

TSM WildTurtle's been pretty decent with commentary/talking about his thought process as of late when he plays ADCs, I think c9's Sneaky sometimes streams too.

Aphromoo used to discuss a lot before he joined CLG. But now he rarely streams at all and it makes me really sad. I miss his FeaR days when he would stream all the time. He was one of the first people I remember advocating Draven, Varus and twitch.

I remember how wild and crazy it was that he would play Draven and Twitch. God the meta changes so weirdly sometimes.

I remember when hermes was considered to be trolling when MVP blue was already out of OGN and got a pentakill with randomed twitch.

I think it's that how common knowledge of how hard singed is to play properly in conjunction to him being weaker than before that has scared many people away.

Singed is somewhat weak at the moment, his early game is too hard against today's meta picks like renek/shyvana and some other toplaners I can't remember (paraphrasing best singed na) also he/Inverted Composer/Sirchez,the best Singed players in North America by far, don't play him for the most part because of his weaknesses.

i think faker just prefers having strong laning. kassadin is powerful but it's not very good early in lane and doesn't fit his preferred playstyle of win lane --> roam

that one game he played kassadin was as a counterpick.

There is probably no point to watch ADC streams. Most of it is in raw mechanics, not decision making.

I don't know that I want to get into the "mechanics" argument, but even in terms of what a lot of people would consider mechanics, there are a lot of things that are reasonably easy to execute but not immediately obvious. The simplest and one of the first everyone should learn is setting up lasthits under towers. There are a lot more, though. Seeing (and taking) free autos at your mirror, positioning against different kinds of supports, helping your support control a bush, etc etc. Watching someone else do these kinds of things, even just a few times, is often enough to allow you to emulate them.

I also see people throw games as ADC with macro-level decisions on a daily basis. I don't think you can learn most of those things from streams, though.

I don't think the tear nerfs hurt singed that badly. Taking tenacity off his ult and the nerf to fling dmg are the larger culprits in my opinion. His pre-6 always sucked but against all of the champs in top lane who don't have a resource to manage (hi shyv, riven, renekton) nerfing his early game damage was completely unneeded.

Singed is bull shit to play against if his early game goes well. Riot probably considers it anti-fun.
