It feels to me that the challenger teams might have a better chance as themselves than getting picked up by velocity... considering if you become velocity you are almost 100% gonna play against Quantic. | ||

Curse and Coast > Quantic. I think Quantic can beat both of those teams in a series, but they are horribly inconsistent. Urgot needs buffs. Probably something like 100 range on locked Q, increase in the base range of his ult, and possibly a small mana reduction on Q to compensate for the nerfed tear stacking(god knows he needs that to scale anywhere). Noct probably doesn't need changes, he'll probably fare quite a bit better in the new jungle with more money. Corki probably needs a little bit of a nerf reversion. Elise IMO is fine. Winrate plummeted because of champ elise skin, that's all. Ryze, Ali GP could use a little bit of help. Everybody 47% and over is probably fine.(except sivir, she's probably a bit out of line) | ||

Closest would be things like talon or fizz, all-in champs early game that will guarantee kills on him so he's useless midgame, zed used to be pretty strong against him, but idk about now. Heavy CC team comps are closest thing to a kass counter, stun him when he ults in to q+e and kill him. | ||

1 series doesn't prove anything. We've had this discussion before. Fnatic is virtually the only pro team that utilizes Kassadin to the extent that he seems powerful. Virtually no other pro team plays or prioritizes Kassadin as a high pick/ban unless they're playing against Fnatic. | ||
