He still seems excellent as a choice for poke comps (although Cait is also very strong there), and in Double AD fastpush comps, perhaps also could fit into a comp with more late-game oriented solo lanes. However, his lane-bullying is minimized for pro play, and The Culling seems to either do no damage or miss completely after 15, 20 minutes. He doesn't seem to be filling the Corki position that so many teams seem to want him to, definately need to know him if you are a pro AD, but he is not a pick that you can shoehorn into every comp like teams seem to be doing. | ||

Lot of pro players are really bad at Lucian, they're just playing him because he's supposed to be good. They do alright because of their natural mechanics, but they play the character wrong and it's pretty silly to watch sometimes. | ||

A lot of assassins have immediate blinks or near instant gap close that does damage when it gets to the target. Riven is what Riot likes to consider a "light fighter." A hybrid of assassin and bruiser. | ||

She's still faster bootless than a good chunk of champions with t2 boots just by spamming Q and E on cooldown. Remember when Talon's problem was that "he deals too much AoE damage"? Even taking his max rank E into account and ignoring her ult's bonus, Riven has more AoE damage/ratio with her skills than Talon's single target damage (although his Q's total AD ratio means that he pulls ahead... till you add her ult bonus). Note how I said "skills", not "kit". Now add the passive. Also AD scaling shield. Also AD steroid on her passive working with lifesteal. Also 2 AoE hard cc. And she doesn't need vision for any of her skills. | ||
