Lucian from League of Legends is making me a racist
So, Lucian is a gun-wielding ranged AD Carry champion from League of Legends, who is popular in the Korean scene and becoming more popular on the American server. He has dark skin and Samuel Jackson-esque voice.
A few problems though. Lucian is a poke-oriented lane bully and a strong earlygame duelist. He can be utterly infuriating to play against.
When I play against Lucian, I feel really racist thoughts, and I catch myself describing Lucian with various racial slurs, including the liberal use of the n-word. I've never described any other champion like that, and I don't know what bugs me so much about Lucian.
I'm a person of color (though not black) in real life, so it makes me feel horrible that I'm thinking like this. Is it normal?
