I don't think I'm man enough to panth mid. I might just be limiting myself to the fotm stuff though. Annie feels a bit binary for my tastes, and I have no opinion on Lissandra since I rarely play against her.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lissandra jumps to OP mid status after the round of Assassin nerfs.
Could also be Ori/Gragas though, hue.

ehhhh I wouldn't say Annie is binary, especially in the current meta.
People always harp on the fact that you need flash for her to be useful. But in the meta where everyone is playing assassins and divedivedive champs (Ren, J4, Vi, etc), Tibbers is also great for counter initiation, especially in the mid game before they are super duper tanky.
There have been several games where I have gone 0/4 in lane cuz bad, and then turning it around in mid game fights. Also, there is no other champ I am more comfortable with 1v2ing a gank into my favor.

Liss shines in the assassin meta. She has less favorable matchups against the more "traditional" mid mages. She'll still be good, but I doubt she'll be super op.
Ori definitely has my bet.

i wouldn't expect a lockdown and zone control specialist like lissandra to become op after the assassins that her kit performs well against fall out of meta - the one exception i would consider possible would be dfg lissandra herself becoming a popular assassin
most likely, the poke trend continues until the upcoming meta reshuffle after season 4 patch. i think there are two reasons for this to be the case - first, poke was popular until zed and company became priority picks, so it should be no surprise that people are returning to it with assassin nerfs in mind. second, poke is a 'safe' strategy that is fairly flexible in terms of composition, which means it fits well in transitional meta periods where one or two champions are picked to provide poke while the remaining positions can continue with previously popular picks or experiment to broaden the meta

I feel like Orianna has been a consistently strong champion over years. I personally think she's just about the most versatile mid champ there is and that she'll be more or less viable and relevant regardless of "meta" shifts that come and go with buffs, nerfs, remakes, new champs, item changes, etc.

Yeah I wouldn't do that, and that's not because I'm making basically nothing as a student. After the first few games in a day it just wears on me so much that I hate playing.

I think everyone knows zerg_russian is close with Dyrus and I imagine his "friend" is him and that number is about what I imagined a popular guy like him makes (same for Oddone probably)
Not sure if ocelote gave the number of what he earned or just the revenue of all his merchandise and sponsor deals...
Pretty sick though one year ago he was celebrating 100k likes on fb and now he has 350k damn. Although rumors says a lot of them are "bought" because if you compare them to Dyrus/Oddone there should be this big of a difference.
