To be honest I completely failed to factor in the "who gives a shit" factor. If Group A takes cues from this game CSheep's prediction is practically guaranteed.

And I don't think it's really fair to say that Ziggs is a joke ban. You might equally say that Voli and Syndra from OMG yesterday were joke picks, because they're undefeated and probably can't avoid being #1 or #2 at this point. I had Syndra and Volibear written down, but not in my totals. It's entirely fair to say Ziggs was a joke ban. Mazzerin doesn't play him, he was never picked in LPL, and OMG benefited from having more access to champions who typically draw bans. You can't as easily say that Volibear/Syndra were joke picks because they've been seen in fairly recent competitive play, OMG actually had to play them out, and OMG also won.
There's also the possibility they meant to ban Zed and the person misclicked and hit Ziggs instead of Zed.

Wait, how are we at 53? Riv said after last game we were at 60. Someone's math is wrong.
|
Well that was before Mineski broke out the push comp and gave us +5, and I think there was mention of voli/syndra slipping through the count. Either way addition confirmed for hardest math skill.

EUW is basically dead atm. Good thing worlds is on.

Definitely watch the Gambit games.

is Ashe bad vs any type of dive comp? (due to no escape/tankiness)
For example I'm watching a world's game with a vi/orianna and I'm reading some comments in the tournament thread that "ashe should be better late game" etc. but I just feel like late game all that should happen in a standard team fight is Orianna balls Vi, Vi ults Ashe, Orianna does her stuff, ashe dies.

I think it depends on how the fight starts too. I feel like if it's a standard 5v5 where the tanks are in front, the support mid, and the AP carry and ADC protected then Ashe does fine, but if the team fight is irregular and Ashe is caught out or the support is and she comes to help the support, then she sucks against any comp because she has fewer escapes to get into a better position.
Similarly, I've seen Ashes win a lot of team fights if they initiate a fight with ult (something that few other champions can do), but she sucks when the enemy team initiates on her with the divers already in position to kill her.

(aside from the most obvious...umm...last one) I had the same question + Show Spoiler +SSO vs GMB had a 100% approval among 52 votes. I'm watching it now as I do other stuff. This was a very slow and methodical game. It was decent and I saw little chance of Gambit creating a comeback. Instead they were waiting to react to an opportunity for one and it never came.

I'd recommend watching mineski games+gambit vs vulcun for fun factor.

I agree with this. Quality wasn't there, but it was good fun and props to Mineski for making it interesting.
