I am about to make a chicken soup, but since you guys know so fkin much about crepes and pancakes I'd rather ask what exactly to put in to give it the right flavour before I start anything | ||

I think my mom makes it with bones (not joking) like after a xmas dinner she keeps the bones and it's pretty good, but I'm not sure how it works. | ||

I think the idea behin the bones is that you cook them in a lot of (salt)water and use this water as your basis for the soup because it gets a flavour. You don't need any instant powder for your broth. It's an efficient way to use leftovers after a big meal. You can use leftover meat and veggies, too. But I wouldn't buy bones just to make soup. | ||

I don't want to say we deserve the thread because TL can do whatever they want, but I like the people who post on this forum (mostly) and I'd rather talk with them about costco pizza then some randoms elsewhere so it would be sad to me if all off-topic was nixed.
