College is also 100% free.
In the US? Pay shit loads of money for college, university and then everything else or GTFO and go be hobo! You don't need a degree to be a plumber. Plumbers make gud money. that is true, although, on the downside, they have to be plumbers.
Well skilled trades is a good alternative for people who lack school skills, but are good hands-on type people, so long as they have the work ethic. Bad part though is it's almost entirely contracted work. Pay is pretty good, but it really is hard work for a lot of it.
Business majors, depending on the person is probably the most lucrative.
Engineering and sciences are probably the most consistently rewarding in terms of input vs output.
I have no idea what jobs the arts faculty people can get. I know one of my friends wrote for the school newspaper but that's about it.

i would call it preference rather than pride... if you have a paucity of other options and refuse to take that one, that's pride.

A big issue with being a plumber is having to smell shit all day. That stuff just really gets you down. BTW Dadyrus challenges you all to a duel.

School is pretty important; the dudes I was good friends and graduated with all tried way harder in their classes and not just pulled like 3.7+ GPA at a school that isn't Harvard (*cough*gradeinflation*cough*) but also spent crazy time tryharding with the professors. Most of them are pulling 100k+ post bonuses, and also had 20k+ signing bonuses in the first place.
I mostly was known as the guy that passed all the exams but never showed up to class and didn't do the homework, so I don't get to pull in the big $s and spend all my money on cocaine.

man Elise is such a nice champ to buy, you can play her in almost every lane :D about school, if you get a lot of electives, always choose language units, they boost your GPA and since no one really reads what you studied at uni, you will have a good looking transcript (learnt this too late unfortunately) while busines class has units that meant to fail around 35 to 40% of the students, language units don't have this at all and it isn't rare to have whole class passing around 70% average

Vlad isn't so bad nowadays, but is still strong. He was way worse in the older days before they realized how big a problem he was. In other words, you shouldn't feel too bad, but still kinda bad.

Just because you are a plumber, doesn't mean you have to be the type that fixes clogged toilets etc. there are other things you can do where you're not elbow deep in shit all day

Exactly the same thing my buddy does. Tons and tons of money and never smell or see gross things.

The difference between a plumber and an accountant is the finance uncertainty. While both jobs pull good same amount of money, you can vision that if you are an accountant for a long time, your salary will be increased. The longer you can secure your job, the more money you can pull in, unlike plumber job, which really depends on a lot of factor.
tldr: plumbing is a job, accounting is a career.

Exactly. the amount of accountants needed is dependent on the size of businesses within the economy, during an economy without growth or with little growth accountants aren't needed in any large numbers. Plumbing is something that grows based on population, so without major wars reducing the population of earth plumbers are always needed
