^^^ only site that does PBE changelogs right imo notice Spirit Visage Total cost increased to 2625 from 2200 Health increased to 400 from 200 Magic Resist increased to 55 from 50. Now grants +20 health regen per 5 seconds. Recipe now includes Spectre's Cowl HUGE buff also there's the new veil | ||

But even worse: The item changes are a fucking joke. Bulwark removed, aegis useless, can be built into a useless Locket --> WTF? Thats two items I really liked on my junglers which are now entirely useless. What the fuck were they thinking? This is bad, just bad. The spirit visage change is reasonable I guess. But what are they trying to achieve with this? Is MR too cheap in their opinion? Is Riot trying to tackle five attackdamage champion lineups by reducing the amount of easily available MR? I dont get it -_-. Those changes look awful at first sight. | ||

Aegis and locket offer no decision making because there's no specificity to the choice to buy them. The question you ask is essentially 'am I playing league of legends?'. If you are, rank the members of your team from best to worst carrier and have the best buy it. So in that sense, they absolutely crowd out other options, even if they're not above the power curve. The design of this game - and dota does this too so you can be ok with it - chafes against generalist items like this.
