Akali is really the only champion I'd actively advocate Gunblade on.

Poppy uses it extremely well. Jax and kayle can use the stats, but other items are just better. Probably a halfway decent item on a number of other champions, but those are the other big candidates I think

Edit: I missed that you mentioned Cass. She doesn't benefit from the AD or Lifesteal at all. wei2coolman covered the better options.
