why is he so underplayed in normal queue? His Q seems to do a tonnes of damage which his other spells give so much utility for the team, he has such a nice team presence with his passive as well

I seems to do really well with him in normal queue (just got to lvl 30 and my normal queue has a few silver 3 players usually) why is he so underplayed in normal queue? His Q seems to do a tonnes of damage which his other spells give so much utility for the team, he has such a nice team presence with his passive as well I'll preface this by saying I'm bad, and this is more observation-based because I haven't seen him used in a while. He used to be used a bit by Reginaid(TSM) in the old days, but he's dropped off a lot since then. He might have also been used by bigfatjiji in those days too. His role at mid is overshadowed by a lot better burst/utility champions. He can be countered very well by a lot of the newer mid designed champions. You need a lot of factors to build a team around him(a lot having to do with that he brings more utility to a team than anything else). It's especially frustrating when the other team's CC is vastly superior to your team's. You will not be able to burst enough if the game reaches late game. The other team will most likely have an aegis/bulwark, and the squishier targets will generally have an MR item of their own if you get that late. The passive is helpful, but if you can't take advantage of your early levels, it's not going to help you later on. Speaking of, the passive is literally useless after champions start reaching 18. Now saying all that, you'd expect to see him possibly in support, but playing him support is very difficult. Again, other support champions beat him out greatly in utility. You don't have the most reliable cc for your ranged AD to win with, and you don't have enough that can be used in a defensive fashion. If you focus on the normal support item builds for Zilean, you lose out a lot on his burst. If you instead try to build AP items early, you can't support well enough because you lose out on ward timings and that will hurt a lot. In reality, not terrible, but he gets beat out by a lot of champions.

And bombs are just stupid harrass -_- Not to mention its a free GA in a teamfight, you can peel / help melee with the speed/slow then bomb some cunt only to do it all over again in 5 seconds

Since people will never kill sbd under Zilean ult, Zil ult is basically the same as Kayle ult, but Kayle brings way more damage to the table.

It should have zero bearing on competitive play but it does. Pro's play what they're good at and what they're good at is what they enjoy playing in solo-queue. Also Zilean has 2 damage spells, not 1.

I think he's fairly good though if you don't overfarm him. He only really needs a mana item(realistically, at 40% CDR he uses more mana than athene's alone can provide), CDR item, and a void before almost maxing out. Obviously dcap and zhonya's and shit helps a lot, but other people can definitely use farm better. 640+1.8 and then another 320+.9 every 4 seconds is still respectable damage, but a lot of zilean's power is in the 5.5! second speedup/slow on a 2 second CD.

He's funny, he puts up a great show, and you can learn from him. What else do you want from a streamer? I rather watch him, than to fall asleep during Dyrus' stream, or watch TheOddOne playing 2 champions all day long. Yes, Trick does the same but at least he PLAYS funny while being funny - I used to watch TOO a lot when he played more diverse champs, but this Elise/Nasus/Zac thing bores me to hell. Where's the double jungling with Azingy? ![]() Also, I don't see how Trick is more kid than Imaqtpie or TOO, lol. I mean sure, you hate him for being famous, I get it, but objectively, how more mature the rest of the streamers are? (There are expections of course, like Voyboy). The thing that gets me the most is that not only he is ridiculously funny, but he bashes himself just as much. Sure, there are events when he expects too much from his teammates, but he's nothing like The Rain Man, who cries for 10 minutes, calling Azingy bad, etc, then Azingy just snowballs his lane with an amazing counter-gank, and even TRM's chat is laughing at him. I like him too, but he can be so stupid sometimes, lol. And yes, you can learn from Trick a lot about the GAME. Ghosting to kill a creep and disrespecting corpses are just for the entertainment. I have no idea how he get so famous (I didn't know him before), but it's funny to see he already has some "omg who is he? must be a kid!"-haters.

He's like solo queue all chat, but in the vocal pitch of a chihuahua. Nor do I watch qtpie or TOO, so not sure what angle you were trying to achieve there. Also, if you had read, you would have known that I disliked him before he got popular. How about you hop off his dick? I've been hating on this kid longer than you've known about him.

Yeah trick2g definitely understands how to entertain people in his own style that I think also appeals most to the /r/leagueoflegends demographic, so the popularity has snowballed off that. TheOddOne also has skill in stream entertainment, but in a different way. I mean, Phantomlord often has more viewers than every member of C9 has combined... is he a better midlaner than Hai? No, but a new, hilarious clip comes out of his stream more days than not, so people watch. They interact with viewers and have earned their fanbase. Trick2g's fans are just more vocal than everyone else, which leads to more vocal detractors. And I'm sure that's fine with him; no such thing as bad exposure etc. Personally I'm not a fan but I can see why people like him.
